Great power alarm.
Exactly what I needed. I have a mini fridge near my desk with a plug that just has to be located near my foot. I sometimes barely knock the plug out and a few times the fridge went too long without power. That is not a problem anymore.I still occasionally hit the plug, but I always know right away if there has been a power disconnect. The noise is sharp and annoying, but not so loud it's painful. And it's definitely apparent.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT BUT IN WRONG PACKAGE
Today is 8/31/24 and I'm reviewing the 2-pack of POWER ALARM using AAA cells, not the other 3 offerings. I have a freezer that is powered through a GFCI, which sometimes trips. I needed to know when this happens, and I hate buying 9V batteries. I was willing to pay the extra for a model that used 2 AAA cells. It isn't super loud so I plugged it into the outlet on that circuit that is closest to where I'll be able to hear it. I hope the seller got a great deal on these, since they were packaged as WINDOW/DOOR ALARMS. Just ignore the packaging. This is why you won't see an image of the retail packaging on the listing.

Order 4 pcs., 1 was defective, alarm is loud, packaging and quality is so-so
I ordered 2 of the 2-pc. items on Amazon. All identical. However, one of the alarms was defective (the alarm went off continually no matter what), so it had to be exchanged. 3 of the alarms work properly - they turn off automatically when power is restored. But one of the alarms will sound the alarm continuously even if the powered is restored, until you manually switch the alarm button off and then back on again. The packaging doesn't match the items; the printouts are for window sensor alarms, not outlet outage ones. No big deal. The quality feels so-so - cheap plastic. If you don't abuse them, they should last. Hangs OK from the outlet. These should help prevent food and insulin spoilage in the event of a power outage. Recommended.

Cheaply built but very loud
I wish I could adjust the volume as they are very very loud. Also prefer a chirping sound to a constant mind-numbing screech. This will be fun when we actually lose power and these things go off up and down stairs. Now as for the build. Very cheap. One actually came broken. I fixed it with a bit of aluminum foil. We'll see how they hold up.

Lear how to use it by testing it a few times. Easy !
No need to buy expensive breaker finders. A very beautiful extremely unmistakable instrument.

Only one of the two alarms worked. Sigh....
I think it's a crap shoot on whether these work or not. I got lulled in by the cheap price, but as usual, you get what you pay for...

Only one works
One seems to function fine one is useless.

Simple and effective
Bought the two-pack so that I have one for the fridge, one for the chest freezer. Small and easy-to-use device, takes 2x AAA batteries. The alarm is a high-pitched warbling type, not overly loud but you won't mistake it for something like a smoke detector or entry alarm - it's unique. You'll hear it, unless you live next to busy train tracks. It has an 'off' switch so it's relatively easy to disable. In my case, I'll have to pull the fridge out to get to it, but the one on freezer is easy to get to. The reason I got them is because a circuit breaker popped on my freezer and I only happened to catch it a few hours later - luckily I didn't lose anything.
