Split ring too big
The media could not be loaded. Just got it today so I can’t attest too much to the sturdiness. The tag itself feels like plastic but that seems more reliable in the sense that it won’t diminish over time like engravings in metal. The silver split ring it comes with, however, is very large compared to the tag. It’s a little bigger than the tag. When I had the silver split ring connecting the tag to the collar, my pup was trying to bite it off since it was getting in the way. Once I connected it directly (with the small gold ring attached to the collar) there wasn’t any issues with my dog trying to take the tag off. I liked the silver split ring (although I wish it were gold as well to match) but it doesn’t fit directly to the tag. The tag’s hole is too small. Which sucks because the silver split ring is much more sturdy than the golden ring provided. My dog has managed to destroy every non-flat split ring so far. So ring strength is very important. Time will only tell if I will need to replace the ring (I’m assuming I will need to since the ring that fits is the standard round wire). As Since the tag feels like plastic, it is very light and doesn’t make the tag hang down like a metal tag would. I honestly like that a bit better since I have a golden metal chain collar for my pup. The chain is somewhat loose so I like that the tag isn’t too heavy. The only thing I wish they would’ve had was the option to put a phone number and my dog’s name on the front. Some people (especially older folk…and even me a few years ago) don’t know how to work QR codes. So it would be beneficial to have that option instead of just having the QR code alone. Nonetheless, setting up all the info for the QR code was very easy. It even shows nearby dogs that are registered for this website as well. I’d recommend this to folks that already have name tags for their dogs and want to provide additional info than just the dog’s name and your phone number. The QR code allows you to tell your dogs temperament, rabies info, microchip number, vet info, etc.

Travel Kitty Approved!
After working at a pet clinic/spa, I've learned that having your information on your pet's tag or collar isn't safe. So I was looking for an alternative and this seemed like a great option.I received my package today and I am very happy with my purchase. The tag itself was bigger than I expected, but it works perfectly fine on my cat's harness. It was very easy to set up with the instructions provided. I love that your information is safe and only those who scan the tag can see your information. It also alerts your email when the tag been scanned and gives you the location. I'm surprised with how detailed you can be with your pet's profile, you can customize it to your pet's uniqueness. Since I take my cat everywhere with me this tag gives me peace of mind. I would definitely recommend this!

Easy to set up
I like that it is all metal. I had one that was like rubber and it broke. This one is great.

Pretty Nifty Concept
I believe they are having technical issues with their site, but they responded to my support request and emailed me my password "manually".I got logged in, updated my account information, activated my tag and tested using NFC.I did not get an email alert, but I think that is still due to a technical issue with email. One suggestion though is to provide contact information as an option on the pet settings page. It has some sort of registration number - not sure if that's AKC or what, but a phone number might be helpful. Vet - eh - in my use case - I take my pet to whatever vet is cheapest (no judgements please), so last vet visit and phone number might not get me my pet any faster - people are more likely to call me direct than a vet - and does the vet really have time to merry up a lost pet with its owner when I could be called direct?I did put my phone number in the registration field - folks will see its my phone, but we should have the option of a phone number in the pet info. Also - there could be a tweak made to the connection system - as the current configuration makes the tag hang perpendicular to the animal's skin. I had to add an additional split ring to make it comfortable for my pet. This would be a solid 5 stars if a few tweaks were made. (I am a firm believer that reviews are for the consumer AS WELL AS the vendor so they can improve on their products)

Product is good but difficult to set up
The website to set up this product is clunky and unresponsive, and account creation was reliant upon someone reaching out to me once I’d tried to set up my account. The website said I’d get an email confirmation for my account, but a day later I received an email saying “it appears you didn’t get that email sent to you” which seems like a cover for not actually having automatic account creation set up.Once working the product works as intended though, which in the end makes it worthwhile.

A Game-Changer for Pet Safety!
This pet tag has made a huge difference in my peace of mind. Setting up the online profile was easy, just make sure to scan it right away. Once it's linked, the tag works perfectly. The instant location email alerts are a lifesaver, giving me extra safety for my furry friend. It's a 5-star investment in pet protection!

Useless
The technology is glitchy at best. It is difficult to sign up and confusing the way it wants you to add a second pet. I finally got it working after a few days when I actually received a confirmation email. Then when I scanned my own pets to see how the location map would work, it showed both of my dogs 3 hours north of me. The rings to attach to your pet's collar are cheaply made. The only good thing is that if it actually stays on your pet and someone scans it, that person can open the webpage to show your pet's information and your contact info. I did receive an immediate email showing it was scanned, but the location given to me was way off.
