It is an okay weather strip. It is vinyl, so it has a limited life for an exterior application. It does not come with a glue strip or any adhesive. No suggestions in the instructions, so you will need to decide how to attach it. I got this for temporary use until I refinish the steel door to my basement. It will slow the air and water that leaks past the old foam gasket. I chose contact cement for the adhesive. It should hold up well and still be removable with acetone. The price point was very good for my purpose.

Easy to install. Seals door openings adequately.

I needed some thicker insulating material for an old back door that I re-painted and re-hung. this was the biggest tubular type I could find with a lip that could be fastened to the trim boards. I also wanted white. this worked fine. It comes with brad nails for fastening.. I opted for my construction stapler. I only wish the lip were a bit wider to make it easier to put in place.

The product is good but the seller sent their old stock . I can tell by product I purchased from another vendor. Packaging received is faded color and gasket is off white instead of white.

This weather stripping is virtually identical to  M-D Building Products 78196 Vinyl Gasket Weatherstrip, 1/2-Inch-by-17 Feet, Brown  except that it's white, and the M-D product's "tube" portion is *actually* 1/4" thick, where this one is visibly smaller. That's fine if you need to fill a smaller gap, but pretty upsetting if you're expecting to receive a product that's ACTUALLY 1/4" in diameter.Not only that, but there is absolutely NO felt or foam involved ANYWHERE in this product (so why is it listed in the item TITLE and DESCRIPTION?!). It's just vinyl weather stripping like all the others. I purchased this hoping the "felt and foam" might add durability or greater temperature barrier (would there be foam inside the vinyl tube? would the strip that attaches to the jamb be lined with felt? --none of these things are true).The product itself is fine, but it is NOT was is advertised (neither the materials NOR the size). Also, the comparable M-D product can be found at your local big box hardware store for *easily* less than HALF the price listed here.

flexible and easy to install

This Tubular Vinyl Gasket as shown on Amazon has a circular width of 1/2". Exactly what I needed. When the item was received, the packaging indicated that the circular width including the "Kerf" tail was was in the circular measurement. The circular measurement was actually about 1/4" and then if you add the KERF tail it comes to 1/2".I needed a circular measurement of 1/2". I returned the purchase.
