I sew....and had sewn a nice big flowing skirted dress. I bought this for under that dress. It arrived in a ziplock bag...I decided to iron it out, instead of just throwing it in the wash to fluff it up. In the process of doing that, I couldn't help but notice how well made this slip was. Sewing this had to be a royal pain in the arse because of the type of materials used, but this was sewn beautifully. It is gathered correctly, and all the seams were straight and no missed spots. After I tried it on with the dress I made. I went to hang it up, and realized that so many of my skirts were full...so I tried them with this slip. They looked amazing! I love this new addition to my wardrobe it improved my "old" wardrobe so much.

Very pretty petticoat. It is very full! A bit too full for my cocktail dress but very nice. Plus, it is not 30" long. I needed one to go under a skirt 28 inches in length and it seemed to be about 4" too short .

This is perfect under my tea length wedding dress. Fuller than it looks in the photos, maybe becsuse it's wrinkled lol but it has great movement to it that added some character to my dress! Love it!

Loved this petticoat! I needed to make my dress poof out for an oldies concert. This did the job perfectly! I was initially worried it would be tight around my hips, but not an issue at all-- in fact there is room to breath. My hips are 48-50", and my waist is about 40". I was also worried this would be too short, but it was perfect. I am 5'9" with a standard torso length. I can pull the petticoat up higher around my waist if needed for a knee length hem.

I recently bought a 50's style dress and needed a petticoat like this one to make it hang right. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit well, was just the right length (it hangs just below the hemline on the dress), and is comfortable to wear. The sizing was true and I'm really happy with it.

I need this garment to add volume to a dress. It worked perfectly.
