I have an 87 454 and the plate fits perfect, good clearance on the throttle blades. I'm confident this will last a lifetime on my truck.

I expected more than a laser cut piece of hot rolled steel. You would have thought they could have at least used cold rolled steel for a better surface finish. It's a bit of a rough looking part. It came with the gaskets, hardware and okay fit up. It is workable but looks like it was done in shop class.The picture is not representative of the part you will be getting.

Fast shipping, all that was wrong is you will have to grind down the tbi bolts for it to sit flush without leaks

If you're using the stock throttle body bolts need to be shortened. They hit the manifold.

Excellent product. This adapter plate allows you to install a GM fuel injection body on a Edelbrock high rise manifold.

I order the item and was delivered very fast and appears in good shape but after installed the trans adapter I noticed that no matter what it the main bolts to plate are the problem cause have to grind the bolts down in order to be able to put an larger size carburetor on without doing any damage to the carburetor due bolt won’t sit completely flat on the plate adapter and once you grind the upper bolts off the plate carburetor can fit completely flat but I have also noticed the plate adapter lower gasket didn’t hold very well cause massive backfire and you think timing off or carburetor is off it’s wasn’t the lower plate gasket couldn’t take the punishment to handle an 4 barrel carburetor and now I have to buy an complete new intake manifold to be able to run an 4 barrel carburetor on my truck and waste my time and money on this trans adapter my advice they are good for 2 barrel carburetor but not on a 4 barrel carburetor.
