Fascinating
This book is beautifully illustrated and taught me a lot about Japanese tea. I’m no longer supposed to drink coffee, so it’s good to know what my alternatives are.

Perfect book to start Zen life with Japanese tea
First off, I really like the finish of this book. It’s compact and has nice quality of paper. Entire book is full of colored pages and a lot of beautiful pictures. The book covers the history of Japanese tea, those kinds, how to brew, and even the teapots selections. Throughout the book, it’s fascinating to see the author’s passion on the green tea. He’s Swedish and yet a certified Japanese tea instructor, which is one of the hardest certificate to achieve.I love drinking Japanese tea, it’s part of my daily routine. Still, this book was very informative and I learnt a lot which I’ve never known of. This will be a perfect fit for those looking for a guidebook of Japanese tea to seek a peaceful moment in your life.

Great primer on Japanese teas
After quite enjoying the author’s previous book, The (Bilingual) Book of Japanese Tea, I was excited to pick up a copy of this book. It has beautiful photography accompanying clear explanations of various Japanese teas and teaware as well as some starting brew parameters.
