This leather lanyard is a bit cheaper than other ones I ran across. I decided on this one and was glad I did - it is VERY thick and heavy duty. Double rivets (rare in lanyards) is nice, and the underside isn't 'raw' or 'fuzzy,' it also has a finished / smoother quality. If you want thin or soft, this isn't the one for you. If you want something quality, THIS IS IT!

Loved it. The leather is very stiff so it took some bending to soften it up. It is good quality and quite sturdy.

I use this for my Garmin ETrex GPS. This strap is really good leather and the metal is quite strong. I expect it will out-live both my GPS and me.

I bought another leather lancet from Amazon which was smoother and more silky but also thinner and only one rivet. This one has more and seems sturdier but it is not as comfortable on your neck because of the thick leather. I was going to get some saddle soap and see if I can soften it but I have not done that yet. If you want a quality leather lancet for a good price I would recommend this item.

Thick leather and a strong clasp to hold your keys or whatever items you put on a lanyard. I highly recommend this product. Just a word of caution. If this item get caught in some type of machinery this won’t break away unless you fashion it to do so. Still a very very good product.
