This was exactly what I needed. I just needed a nice, simple smart bulb to connect to google home that I could set up for automation to wake me up in the morning. I didn’t want any colors or any connectivity issues, just need to adjust the brightness. The Hue app is not good and stopped working very shortly after I got it but it connects to the google home app. Even when the power goes out or something and it has to reset I still don’t have to add anything back in. The brightness is exactly what I need and it indeed does wake me up every morning at the same time. Less alarms I sleep through, the happier everyone in my house is lol

These bulbs are a little expensive. $15 $16 maybe more, but I'm still using the same bulbs after 10 years and they're still going strong. Great for automation and you don't have to replace them every 6 to 8 months. They are worth the money
