6162 Industrial Chic Flush Mount Ceiling Light, Burnished Bronze with Opal Glass Globe, 12"L x 12"W x 4.5"H

I really like the appearance of this light fixture; it goes great with my newly remodeled home. Look closely at the photo, however. You would think the "spider legs" would completely enclose the globe. They do not. They almost meet the base (the part attached to the ceiling), but do not. I am disappointed by this. How much harder would it be to have the legs come into contact with the base? Just make each one another 1/4" longer. The finish looks like it does in the photo, but at a distance. When you're holding it your hands it looks painted on, but once it's mounted in the ceiling you really can't tell and it looks great.My unit arrived with a malformed globe. You can't tell from the photo, but atop the globe there's a "neck" about 1" deep. The neck fits inside the inner circumference of the base. The neck on my globe was not cut level. This made the globe not sit level in the base. In a regular fixture, you wouldn't likely notice it, but because the spider legs attach to a shaft through the globe, I ended up with two legs touching the base and two legs 3/4" offset from the base. This wouldn't do.I informed Amazon that globe was defective and I was told a new one would be sent to me directly from the manufacturer. It took about 10 days, but sure enough a new globe showed up and it was cut correctly. Problem solved.

I ordered 2 of these ceiling lights and installed in my laundry room and a hallway near the master bedroom. Very happy with this purchase. The fixtures are contemporary, leaning towards farmhouse style, and give off a good deal of light from the 2 bulbs. They were economically priced and overall a great value.

Bought one to test and it had a solid look so I ordered two more. Sadly, I didn't take the other two out of the box for some time after they arrived and the glass was broken. Be sure to check it when it arrives and do not wait to do so.

The color is not what I thought. I thought it would be darker. Other than that, it works great and was easy to install.

This worked great in my daughter's horse/barn themed room (Don't mind the mess). We needed something with plenty of lumens yet enclosed to prevent tampering & bulb burns by children via the bunk bed. This delivered on that & more! It fit into her theme & it was in stock & prime eligible so, delivery was perfect!

The picture made it look like the crossbars are black, but they're not - the whole thing is the copper-rust looking color that you see on the base of it.

This is a good quality fixture. It compares very favorably with the ones we purchased from our local lighting store. It came packaged well.I installed it in about 15 minutes. I came with all the mounting hardware needed to attach to my existing ceiling electrical light box. Screws, bracket, wire nuts. All there. I am going to buy two more for upstairs.

We bought 4 of these to replace cheap “builder grade” globe ceiling lights. These are a nice cheap upgrade if you are going for more of an industrial look. Normal ceiling light installation process. Brightness depends on the bulbs you put in. Would buy again.
