I will say that this kit did NOT work with the Kordon Copper Aid that I originally purchased from Petco, but seeing as I ended up having to buy the Mardel to get rid of the ich, I think it was probably something with that medication and I was afraid of overdosing because the instructions and the level of copper according to the test kit weren't even close in lining up. All in all, recommended if you are treating your tank with a copper-based medication.
