Not enough thread
Very disappointed. I didn't have enough thread to finish. I had about 4 inches of stitching left. The leather quality is nice though. Another $0.04 worth of thread would have gone a long way.

Challenging install
I love working cars, I knew this was going to be difficult to install, but I was down for the challenge. It was chilly (60 degrees F) the day I installed it, which might have contributed to the difficulty I had getting the leather to stretch over the wheel. I tried using my heat gun to get to to loosen up, which is when I learned the thread melts, oops time to start over on that section. I end up just working the leather like crazy with my hands, loosely stitching then pulling the treads tighter and tighter with a bent nail I used as a tool. I was able to get a C+ job done, which for a perfectionist nut like me feels like a failure. I am sure if I could practice a few more times I would get this down. This was my first attempt and practicing this would get expensive. I wish they made it just a little bigger to reduce the installation effort. One of the other reviewers ran out of thread, they may have fixed that because I had way more than enough thread. The back to back tape seemed like a bad idea considering how much I had to work the leather I only used a little on the bottom spoke. All that said, it is a great improvement over the plastic garbage wheel that came on our 2008 Subaru Impreza, even with a C+ install. Love the combination of leathers, feels good, love that it covers a portion of the spokes which looks more classy/factory and it even smells great. It is much a better fit than the universal stitch options out there, and lets not talk about the slip on lazy covers. If you are willing to attempt this give yourself a few hours, wishing you good luck, happy steering.

Eiseng DIY Stitching Steering Wheel Cover for Subaru F
Extremely difficult install if you don't know what you're doing. I had to scrap the piece from messing up too many times. The leather rips fairly easily and the needles supplied do not penetrate the leather well. The needles supplied also bend easily. I invested over 6+ hours to only get about half way done before having to completely scrap from my mistakes. If you're willing to spend a whole weekend perfecting this and making it look nice, it is a cheap option to replacing your steering wheel. It CAN look nice if you have upholstery skills.Instructions were useless. Overall quality of the material was decent hence the three stars.

Great replacement for OEM WRX/STI/Impreza steering wheel leather
Great upgrade for Impreza/WRX/STI steering wheel leather. A tight fit but that helps with the install. The leather feels great and really cleans up the old wheel. You may want to leave your old cover on to ensure it has a snug fit. The reason for the 4/5 stars is because the fitment on the bottom spoke (see picture). The leather bunches and even with double sided tape it still has wrinkles. Not a huge issue but for something that’s custom made for my steering wheel I was hoping it would be a perfect fit. I’m hoping with use and time the leather relaxes and forms to the wheel eliminating some if not all of the wrinkles. If that happens definitely will update this review and add the 5th star. Still a great option for those looking to replace their OEM steering wheel leather for their WRX/STI/Impreza .
