fantastic
purchased for my grandson 8+ yrs, as i observed that he is to much involved in video games, which i dont want to be indulged in this type of useless activities, i was thinking that i should divert his inclination from destruction to constructive activities, so i purchased this item and gifted him and teach him how to use its funny charecter of devise, now i see changes in him that he is more constructive and is curious to know about electronics and i instruct him time to time.he is induged in spare time to make projects and automatically he cut down useless time to play video online games,i think this is a best device for children to avoid video games and to divert their mind in constructions.,

It is prettey useful
This is a product definitely someone should buy who likes programming. But be careful cause it seems like if you try to break it in half or sit hardly on it then it will break. But chance is very low of breaking

Great board for learning
It's a great board for learning embedded systems. The tools especially the block codes on the official website are outstanding for teaching kids while keeping their interest. However, the delivered product had some issues, especially the USB cable. They supplied power-only cable instead of data cable without which the board doesn't get connected to the PC. It should be the correct cable as told by the customer care of MicroBit over the mail. Overall a great product except for this hiccup.
