So glad I bought this!
This was simple to set up; right out of the box it was ready to go. Nothing to assemble (other than sliding the stone into the housing). Other reviews have mentioned the flame didn’t stay lit. That’s only because the first couple of times you ignite it you need to hold in the knob for a couple of seconds for the gas to go through the system. I am not an expert pizza maker by any means, but you couldn’t tell by the pies that I have been getting out of this oven. It’s really terrific! One comment I would make is that even the lowest flame tends to be a little hot. I have found that if you turn the knob almost to OFF, it gives a lower flame than the LOW setting. That’s what I’ve been using for terrific results. I am seriously pleased with this oven.

Already printed out the return label
Got this for Xmas - all set to go. Hook up the propane...it lights immediately...and every time I release knob after it ignites - the gas stops flowing and the flames go out. Tried everything I could think of - and it's 100% the knob not working like it should. It should work like a BBQ or firepit - you push in the knob; the gas flows and ignites; you wait a few seconds and then you release the knob and you can turn it past the "lite" mark and control the gas flow/flame from "High" to "Low" temp. On this thing - you release the knob and the gas gets cut off every time. There's something wrong with the knob and makes it worthless...so back it goes.

Awesome oven with minor flaws
This oven is just awesome. No idea what a Ooni looks like. No idea how they work. What I do know is that I love this oven. I've only had it for a month and I already cooked 20 or 30 pizzas and they came out perfect (not the first ones though). I only hope it lasts a very very long time.It does have s couple details:1 - The gas knob issue everyone talks about. Yes. It does have an issue with it. The oven turns up just fine but it turn off if you release the knob. It looks like a design issue since I tried everything. The gas valve works fine, the thermocouple works fine and it's also in a good position. I found out that the knob itself it's a few milimeters larger than it should be and it prevents the gas valve button going all the way through. I trimmed 1 or 2mm out of the knob and now it works as a charm.2- The stone seems a bit thinner to me (no I idea about this one). I know that it will break if something cooler/humid touches the surface while it's hot.A extra comment. The oven get veeeery hot in 20min. It burns the pizza (the side facing the fire) in just 10-15secs. I found out that if I decide to keep the fire as high as it can, the pizza cooks in less than a minute but you must turn it around after 10sec of throwing it in to get an even cook, a nice and even crust and to prevent it from burning. Anyways, I just heat it up and then go low or medium-low. This takes an extra minute to cook the pizza but it can go unattended for a few seconds without burning. This way the pizza comes out perfect. A detail to consider is that I live in the Caribbean so my kitchen is always hot... I guess this helps the oven to stay hot while I keep it low.

Budget friendly and excellent quality
This product is just like the ooni koda 12 but just with a smaller price tag. I used it for the first time today the burner fired right up without issues. It got up to operating temperature quickly. I am very happy with this pizza oven, I would recommend getting it

Burnt and raw pizza
So, it’s easy to set up and compact. The issue is that it burns the pizza crust and the middle is raw. It doesn't even have a temperature gauge or a lip in the back to keep the pizza from hitting the flames when you turn it. The sauce remains raw as well. I think the placement of the flame may be the issue. Ok so looked like some of the paint inside was bubbling after one use. That should not be the case and it can’t be great to have bubbling paint so close to your food.

Preparation Before Use Important
This Outdoor Pizza Oven Gas Pizza Oven requires some preliminary knowledge an d preparation if one is to operate it safely. Understand that it gets dangerously hot although I have not gotten the oven to the highest stated temperature of 932 degrees Fahrenheit. Placement of the oven is important. It should be maybe ten to fifteen feet away from a dwelling and placed on a sturdy bench or on concrete blocks. This oven should be a good working height to easily place pizza in it and to take it out. Before first use and after hooking up the propane tank (obviously) turn the heat high for about twenty minutes to burn off any coating inside and to prime the oven. You want this to burn off and not get on your food. Let the oven cool down and wipe it out. It is then ready to use. When placing your pizza in the oven make sure the pizza can slide freely non the pizza sheet, otherwise it could get stuck and end up being a pizza blob in the oven. The pizza oven seems well made, heats pretty evenly and gives a good result with pizza and with roasting vegetables. It cooks fast so don't leave your pizza or vegetables in too long and visually monitor the cooking process rather than walking away and checking periodically.
