The media could not be loaded. I ordered this battery light as I wanted something more homely to take away with us in our folding camper (it's a bit like half a caravan with a tent on top). Whilst we have electricity most of the time on campsites, there are occasions where we might go away to places with no electricity, so need to rely on the leisure battery. Everything that can run on batteries instead is a bonus, since it puts less strain on the leisure battery and allows you to effectively go camping off grid.This battery lamp is ideal. The light output is good and the battery should last a long time due to the low wattage of the bulb.The lamp itself is made from glass, so it has a really nice effect when the low voltage bulb shines through it.This is ideal for our needs as we can switch it on at night and, should we be out for the day and get back late, it will give the appearance that someone is at home in the caravan, thus providing an extra level of security. Likewise, if it was to be used at home it could easily convince anyone walking by that there's someone home bu automatically turning on.This only requires 2 X AAA batteries, making it convenient for when you're camping as they're easy to get hold of.I really like the appearance of this as it looks well made, feels sturdy and gives a far nicer feel for in our camper than sitting around a battery operated lantern.Overall, I'm really pleased with it and can definitely recommend it. It can even be taken outside the camper to use in the awning at night as it'll asily illuminate it, giving a warm feeling due to the nice light tone.

Intermittent Problem with lighting in bathroom so safe and stable

Very impressed with this lamp. You would never know it took batteries from looking at it. The glass shade makes all the difference. Very surprised how bright it was at first with just the 2 new batteries in. But amazed how after 10 days and it’s still going strong. The amount of light obviously has become more of a soft mood lighting now. But with the energy prices as high as they are; this lamp helps saves the pennies. It won’t light up a huge area after the first few days. But it certainly prevents me putting on extra electric lamps on in the evening. I also like the gold affect base. I bought this on a whim of shall I sharn’t I. And so glad I did. I really didn’t think the batteries would last this long to light up the bulb enough. But the automatic timer of 6 hours on and 18 hrs off, definitely is the game changer. In fact I’m so impressed, I’ve just bought another one for the other side of the living room. The bulb inside is a screw in and out bulb that can be changed. But it has no writing on and didn’t come with instructions. So if it needs changing in the future. I would like to know what bulb to buy as a replacement? I’m presuming I just buy a very low led wattage? Seeing as it’s just standard batteries powering it.

Very disappointed with this product ! The day it was used the light from bulb was so dim. I then changed bulb and it still wasn’t working. Then I bought new batteries thinking that the batteries could be issue, it still doesn’t work. No happy with product!

Love the shape and design and functionality (timer) of this lamp and for the first 3 weeks or so it was perfect, let out a nice amount of light and made a lovely pattern up the wall through the ribbed glass. Then suddenly one day I thought it hadn’t come on, but it turned out it had come on, but was just really dim and since then it has never got its brightness back. Still “works” but now it lights up nothing at all. You can barely tell it’s working. Would not recommend. Waste of money. Still looks nice as a dust gatherer. A real disappointment overall.

Looks beautiful and lights up great. Just what I deeded for a dark corner of the room - looks brilliant. Would recommend.
