Q: How high do you sit off the groud ?

Not very high, almost like a beach chair height. I could probably stand up by myself but am worried I'd bend the legs so I have someone lend a hand so I can stand straight up. Hubby twisted in it and slightly bent one leg, it still works fine but just know you need to sit straight and not mess about on the legs. My hubby is in the 250lb range. Love these for the size and convience of being able to keep in car or take on flights.

No, it won't hold and you would't be comfortable in the chair. I weigh 260 and the width of the chair is just right for me.
