This is more beautiful in person than the pic.... it fit perfectly on my round toilet, very sturdyI would definitely recommendit was true to color in brown

Okay I don't think its really wood but it is very good material heavy duty and the components (metal) that attach to the toilet are far greater then what they use mostly now. Plus its really nicer looking then the regular cheap ones. With the quality and attachment quality I do believe this will last a very long time.

I removed my old toilet seat before even opening this new one. I should have checked to make sure I had everything I needed. Now I'm running out to Home Depot hoping they'll have the pieces I need that didn't come in the packaging. One anti-slip gasket and one stopper are missing, and I'm not entirely sure I'll find replacements. I would rather not put my old seat on and wait for customer service to respond to an email just for them to take a few days to ship the pieces I need. So I'm a bit annoyed.I will say, the seat seems to be decent quality. Maybe the seat it's replacing wasn't the best quality, but this new one seems heavier and sturdier. I saw a few reviews saying it doesn't clear the lip of the seat, but I have a feeling the brackets weren't turned like the instructions say. It fits my round standard toilet perfectly. Now I just need the pieces to finish installing it...Edit: I had to email the company because no hardware store had the right size for the hardware I needed. The company responded really fast and it only took 48 hours for the replacements to arrive!Now that I've been able to use this seat, I must say it's not all that comfortable. But it's a toilet seat, not a lounge chair.

Easy install and it very good quality, I’ve only had it for one day but I haven’t had any issues with it sliding back and forth so far yet. It actually matches my bathroom perfectly!

Great if you like your toilet seat coming out of the hinges. Be prepared to have the entire seat come loose while you're sitting on it! A major flaw in the design! The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because it looks nice. Buyer beware!

Really nice toilet seat. Wood and finish is beautiful however, a little hard on the butt (and not in a good way) if sitting for long periods of time. Only other thing I have is the top doesn't stay up when peeing...I have to hold it up in order not to splash urine all over it. -- I do have a fairly steady and straight stream but sometimes not so good so it would be nice if it "stayed up" (pun intended). I "could" sit down when peeing but that's not "manly", so I guess I'll just have to deal with it. YMMV
