Great deal. Works and easy to use. Compact and easy to carry.

These are great if your going to take a Long Train Ride, you can secure your luggage, without the fear of having it stollen. The cable pulls out far enough to secure the luggage to the luggage rack. They easily open/close and recoil very well. A must if your going to leave your luggage unattended.

So far so good used it a dozen times or so to lock my snowboard and so far no one thought to try to cut the cable. Gets the job done. But wishing the cable was longer.

garbage. no instructions. Code on 1 unit was able to be changed but only 1 time, 2nd unit combo will not change at all. Nothing on vendors web site and the amazon instructions are not accurate either. I have had many of these locks over the years. DO NOT BUY this one.

I was hesitant to buy this set after a few reviewers said they didn't work, but I'm glad I took the chance on them (especially for a great price). I think those reviews are due to user error. The lock set did not come with instructions so I came back to Amazon to see if instructions were listed here. Though they're a little difficult to find, they are described perfectly in the fourth photo. Follow those steps to set your own combo and remember to spin the dial to something other than the combo to keep the lock from releasing. I haven't used the locks yet, but they're similar to others I've used to lock ski/snowboard equipment outside the lodge while eating lunch. Not super-secure, but will certainly deter a-holes from grab and go equipment theft on the mountain.

For a 2 pack the value is ok, but I can't change the code for my needs.

Didn't work for my purposes, locking a walk-in closet folding shutter doors, but are good and fine for helmet locks and most other typical uses.
