Sleepy Eyes Owl Soother

I purchased one of these for my son in the past. He ended up loving it too much where it can't be in his bed yet. He will be up all night talking to the owl. So until he gets more used to it; its a toy for outside of the bed. Used for low stimulating calming hours during the day. Bought another one for a sprinkle gift for my sister in law who is expecting a boy. I'm thinking if the owl is used for its purpose with a baby it will have a better outcome. I bought mine for my son when he was 6. I love the eyes. The eyes move up and down functionally, and the different types of calming sounds, and there is a volume control. This toy is on the expensive side, but if your child relies on calming toys and sounds for any part of their routine in their day I strongly recommend this toy. Its cute, really soft, size is medium (not too small not too large).

So freaking cute the owl plays sweet music/lullabies and its eyes open and close to go to sleep. And the belly lights up my daughter absolutely loves it. Highly recommend for ages 0 Months to 3/4 years old.

My first born just turned 2 a couple weeks ago and immediately started a sleep regression. He is in a toddler bed and has been doing great up until last week where he would scream and cry when it was bed time from what seemed to be fear. He has never done this before and usually loves his sleep. We used to close the door and tell him goodnight and he would fall asleep on his own with no assistance from us. But then he started needing us to be in the room for him to fall asleep. It was exhausting and I didn’t want this to be a habit he got used to. So I looked into some calming bedtime “toys” that would help with this transition into going back to sleep without us. This owl has been his best bud. We turn on owl right before bed to show him it’s time to go to sleep. He walks in his room, grabs his owl, lays on his bed and is perfectly content. He LOVES this owl. He presses its buttons when he needs more company and falls asleep with no fuss once again. This product is amazing and has allowed this family rest again. One last thing, my son is not a stuffed animal or lovey kind of kid. He is more into monster trucks and dinosaurs but this owl has been his best friend in bed. He snuggles it and tries to feed it his sippy cup of milk. It’s precious to watch and I’m so thankful for this quality product.

Gifted it to my 18 month old grandson, and he LOVES it! He lays in crib, pulls it close and turns it on by himself and falls asleep. Then first thing in the morning, it’s the first thing you hear, is him turning it back on and talking to it. My daughter keeps it in crib and only lets him play with it when bedtime and he knows it’s time to sleep with the soft lullaby music. GREAT buy!♥️

I like how soft it is, how easy it is for a young toddler to press the wing buttons. I love how sturdy the eyelids and mechanism behind them are, because they have been forced open by fascinated fingers and still work. The night light is pretty, i wish it had a steady only-red option, but that is me. The light can be turned off and on while sound plays. The crickets sound good. We tend to use the 'regular' white noise or synth sounds Baby can click through them, turn it all off. Start it up again. There is only one real lullaby song on it?! That does not play in a loop. You must choose a white noise option for sustained sound. The sound stops at 15 minutes. Great for room sharing at adult bed time for husband, and he claims a sustained lullaby from the Vtech monkey wakes her up in a certain part of her sleep cycle. A 1 hour snooze is too long. Idk about that. What I do know is that our upstairs neighbor has a dog that barks during nap time and that wakes her up. This will not stay on for a 1-2 hour nap. I wish I could have the sound settings and options of the Vtech monkey in this adorable owl with his northern lights belly. We have not needed to change batteries yet. Charging the monkey became a terminal problem. For double the money while on a sale, we tried the owl next. It's just okay. We have purchased another monkey. But the owl stays in her crib.

Our 4 year old son LOVES this toy. It has become his new favorite bedtime companion. He fights sleep at night and this owl has helped him tremendously in soothing him to sleep. It is very high quality and well made. It is very soft and snuggly. It sits flat for use for infants. There are 2 volume modes. We keep ours on the quieter mode and it is perfect. The various sleep sounds are wonderful and the 20 minute run time is very convenient. Our son prefers the musical one and will switch through the modes until he finds it. The glowing belly is not too bright and provides just enough light to help children feel safe and secure. Most of the other products here similar to this one have music that is incredibly jarring and overstimulating. I honestly spent an hour looking for a sleep aide toy for our son and I am grateful that I found this one. The price is also incredible in comparison to other similar products. This owl is very high quality and well made. It's also stood up to being tossed on a hard floor many times and still works perfectly. This toy would be a great gift for a baby shower or an expecting parent.

I was on Amazon searching for sound machines and sleeping aids for myself and I came across this little owl. It’s advertised for babies/children but after reading some of the reviews , others claimed how it would be beneficial for adults as well. I love owls and figured well I can buy it for myself and if anything I can gift it to a child. Soon as it came in , I took it out the box and fell in love! It’s so soft and those big eyes won me over! The sound quality is really good and the lights are soothing! I slept with it last night and listened to the rain and instantly passed out. This is a great toy for a child but also super soothing for an adult if you’re having trouble sleeping or deal with anxiety! The owl is a good size and great quality for the price! Get it! Totally worth the $50

The light changes color et has various intensities within its programmed cycle, it’s a little too bright but still very nice and soothing. The various sleep sounds are great, I chose to use the little sleep melody and I honestly never use the other option to make the eyes close with the lullaby. 20 minutes is a little short and I would’ve love to have an even lower volume option but given the price and the fact that it’s still working a month into using it daily (2 fisher-price unit broke within 2 weeks for no reason) I would definitely recommend this product.
