Love the UV
This is small so I have it as a necklace and use the UV light as needed at my work. The UV light clearly presents holograms and the color strip on money, helping to identify fraudulent bills. The magnetic reader works but takes too much time so I rarely use that portion of this detector.

Disappointed in this product
In my experience, this product lacks consistency! The UV light works fine, but the magnetic detector part was very inconsistent. For instance, I tried it 9n a 50 dollar bill. It took 5, maybe 6 tries before it worked. I thought maybe that initially I was holding it incorrectly. 5 minutes later I tried it again and it failed to work. Then it worked 2 other times and after that I could not get it to work. Same position, same place, everything was the same. I have been shopping on Amazon for a long time and happy with most of my purchases. Not this one.

Very difficult to use aggravating
Bill needs to be on a hard flat surface and sometimes it takes a very long time to get it to work but it will if it is done slowly and correct! I do not recommend this product it will cause more aggression than needed.
