Instructions were difficult to understand.

The end product is very pretty.

The instructions we in English, very small font but English. Plenty of ribbon for the project. It is extremely difficult to get the needle through the canvas with the ribbon on it. I broke two of the needles while trying to get the ribbon through the canvas. I had to use my needle felting tools to try to make a bigger hole. So I don't recommend this kit unless you want to buy more tools.

I bought a returned kit that was supposed to be all there but was not.

This is a beautiful project. Just wish the printed canvas was a little clearer, and there were instructions on what to start on first. I started with the stitching first, and I'm working from small things to large. If you look closely at the canvas you can tell which ribbons are overlapping the others, so you would obviously do the ones that are underneath first. The stitches are color coded as well, so you can see where similar colors go. You may want to buy a ribbon embroidery book to go along with this.

I like the design and quantity of ribbon. I have found that a few of the ribbons are cheap, as are the needles. I have completed 1/5 of the project and needles have broken. Fabric this thick requires a sturdier needle.

Order placed: August 12, 2017I paid $29.00 for itI'M DISGUSTED because: It's obvious to me that someone returned it after helping themselves to ribbon they wanted. The photo of the item was not on the front of the plastic package where it belongs. 5 different color ribbons were obviously missing. There were loose metal parts in the package,.and were falling out. I havae no idea what else is missing. Don't see a list of what should come with kit. There was always a list when I used to do a lot of this kind of kit/art/work. Most ribbons were "HACKED" off and there would never be enough green to make more than 3 leaves. I have no idea what else is missing because I never bought a RIBBON KIT before. I've purchased other kits in years passed and ALL THE PARTS WERE THERE & WITH PLENTY OF MATERIEL AS TO NOT RUN SHORT. Luckily I purchased a book from Amazon that teaches me how tomake ribbon flower embroidery. I'M GOING TO NEED IT! Highly recommend any purchaser of these kits do the same as the instructions "stink"Amazon has been great and whey are giving me my money back. I'll order another kit an hope the next is complete and not a THIFT STORE FIND.
