Genuine Ford product
First off, I don't know why some people say this is a knockoff. This is a Ford product in Ford packaging. Second, this does fit a 2013 F-150, even though Amazon says it does not. Last week I started getting the blue screen instead of a backup camera. This was exactly what I needed at some of the wires have been broken in the harness due to incorrect installation at some point in the past when the tailgate was replaced. It was not that cheap but it's worth it to get an OEM product. It's not that difficult to install. Unclip the Ford logo plate on the tailgate, take two 7 mm screws out of the camera housing and remove, unclip the harness on that end. The other end is underneath the truck on the driver side just beyond the bumper. Unclip it, there is another clip on the tailgate which is included on the new harness. Feed the small end of the wire through the grommet then through the tailgate hole. It helps to feed a piece of wire through the camera hole on the back of the tailgate then you can just pull the wiring harness through. Plug both ends of the harness in. Replace the camera plate and the logo plate.

Save yourself $900 over Dealer Install! Easy DIY
2013 F-150. Fit's perfectly and an upgrade from the OEM. Watched a couple YT videos and installed this backup camera in about 30 minutes. Higher definition than the OEM. Most of the problems with the OEM cameras stem from the wiring wearing out from constant opening and closing of the tailgate over the years. This Camera is the perfect replacement!
