It's a very sturdy & well made table. **Q: How do you open it? The red tab will not open it. What am I doing wrong?** A: The red tab will lock it once the legs are fully extended. You should hear each leg click into place **Q: Why does the price all of a sudden double with shipping?** A: Because enough of the buying public are too lazy to read the shipping fee and will buy this expecting to pay only the "surface price". What's more, many people won't even notice the shipping fee at checkout time, so the deal will still go through and the vendor will make some money. That's the price of a lazy mind. **Q: Manufacturer how much weight can this support? Can it hold 200 or 400 lbs?** A: I don't know what the manufacturer would say. I wouldn't put over 100 lbs on it. It is a good table.
