Q: The desciption says these are for solid network cables - will they work with stranded cable?

Your only supposed to use solid core on keystone jacks and stranded with RJ45 plastic crimps. That's how the cable is designed. Might work but not suggested for commercial applications. At home, tinker all you want.

Q: Will these fit standard wall plates?

Yes. They will fit standard keystone plates

Q: Will this work with 26AWG cables? This is designed for 23~24AWG cables.

Yes this does work with 26AWG cables. I just tried this about a day ago, due to a friend asking the same question.
