very easy to install great directions had ice within 2 hours of installing

I installed this tray in less than 15 minutes. I do not like the teflon coated trays as the teflon flakes off in the ice over time. This new tray has no teflon so I will only need to be replace if it malfunctions. It's been working perfect for some time now. My last four ice trays were replaced due to flaking teflon in the ice.

When looking for a replacement ice maker for my Norcold 1210 RV fridge, I found the 'name brand' replacement unit was 3 times the price of this one. I started checking on line and found this model ice maker was said to be the exact same as the name brand. Upon comparing the units, side-by-side and before installation, I found that information appeared correct. I installed it, which took about 30 minutes or so and after everything cooled back down, I turned it on. Within a couple of hours, I had ice. The electrical connections, pre-drilled screw holes, etc. fit exactly as the Norcold unit. AND I saved over $100.

I wasn’t sure I wanted to attempt this being a disabled lady but I watched videos on how to install in bottom Jenn Air refrigerator freezer. I ordered and it’s perfect. My freezer drawer front came off the tracks and easily removed it. Unit went in without a hitch other that leveling bracket. I salvaged the one from my old ice maker and used . The problem I had was trying to get the doors back on the tracks so it would close properly. Took seven attempts and a lot of prayer but I got it. It’s been a week and I am very happy with the ice maker. Difficulty I experienced was nothing to do with product.

This ice maker is made of plastic. The original is solid and the tray is made of metal. This ice maker seems like a good replacement and makes ice like is supposed to. I would recommend it.

I almost forgot to cut/punch out the tab/hole for the water inlet, as I was so excited to put the new icemaker in. It fit perfectly, including the wire connection. Had ice in 2 hours.

Disappointing. Installed it, produced ice ONCE and then never again. Seller could not replace but did refund.
