Good but which i would have gotten the Golden

I had been buying Bob's Red Mill Flax seed because it was the only brand the grocery store carried but it was so expensive I decided to try something different. This has no flat taste like the Bob's. Flat is the only way to describe it because although it does not have a taste really it is not fresh like Healthworks. Flax seed is. This is a great deal too I just wish they would do something about the packaging because once you open it the zip does not close up again so you have to put it in a air tight container - no big deal. Great product, good price, just wish you would change the packaging.

When the product arrived I opened the box to see that the bag had a hole in it causing some of the contents to come outside inside of the box. I am not sure of what caused the hole but I am not comfortable enough in terms security of the package to use the product. I would either like a refund or another undamaged package please. I am and have been very satisfied with the product however, as stated the packaging has been compromised. I will await a response. Thank you.

Flaxseed is an excellent source of good fat and fiber. Used at night it can provide bowel relief by morning. I read that the vitamins and fat in the flaxseed are better absorbed ground and with yogurt. I enjoy the flaxseed with yogurt as well as on salads, in Trim healthy Mama recipes, in smoothies and in cereal. If you have never tasted flaxseed you may think there isn't much of a flavor, I find it to be a little bit nutty. When eating something with flaxseed in it, I note more of the texture difference than I do a taste difference. I have been told one tablespoon per 100 lbs of weight is a good starting dose for your daily fiber. In the past I have bought flaxseed that was not already ground. I had to grind it myself in a coffee grinder. This is much easier because it is ready to use right out of the bag! The bag is resealable so you don't have to find another container to store the flaxseed in once you open the bag. I was given a discount on the purchase of this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I'm the type of person that does not like chewing anything that I consider a drink, so having ground flax is very convenient. I use this in my smoothies/protein shakes to add more fiber in my diet. You can't even tell it's in there...👍🏾

I have nothing but great things to say about this ground flax seed meal. I use it every morning for a keto genic “cereal“ and it has been very consistent. It’s a nice, fine grind, and I make sure not to heat it with anything other than hot water from my coffee maker so that I don’t destroy or oxidize any nutrients. I never put this product in the microwave. Oddly, one of my favorite things about the product is the zip seal at the top of the packaging. So many of the “reclosable“ bags of food are just a single line of plastic that fails as soon as there is anything in it. But this one is a lot higher quality. It actually shots and keeps things out. At least, that has been my experience. Perhaps this is why I haven’t had any issues with moths... Thanks to the reviewers who have commented about months in the product. I will keep my eye out for that, but I haven’t seen any myself.
