I'd imagine they work
I bought 2 different brands of these. I didn't like these ones as much as the other ones, i didnt like the quality or how they closed it was a strip of velcro, no big deal I gave them to my daughter who just got her first paddleboard. If she likes them when she uses them i will edit this. The d ring patches don't come with adhesive you have to buy it separately, make sure you either get an adhesive at the same time, they suggest pvc glue.
