Review: Not indestructible - The straws are a little flimsy, so if you’re picturing the indestructible strength of our old Generation X erector sets, you’ll want to lower your expectations a bit. That said, for the price, it bought my kid a solid few hours of off-screen entertainment, and honestly, that alone made it worth it. It comes with a few example builds to copy, but no step-by-step instructions, which actually turned out to be a good thing—it forced some real imaginative play instead of just following directions. I do wish they sold replacement straws, because after all the bending and rebuilding, a few didn’t hold up so well. But I’m not about to buy an entire new set just to replace a handful of pieces. Overall, not heirloom-quality, but a fun, creative, screen-free win.
