I have used this series of books as part of my preparation for Youth Group lessons. They have been a great launching point in lesson writing. Moody’s look at John 1-12 did not disappoint.

A good basic orthodox commentary, written in layman's language. I am pre-ordering the second volume. Recommend the entire "Word for You" series. I have used several of them as resources for Bible studies O have taught or am attending!

I paid $28 for a hard cover new book and instead it shows up used. Markings all over it. Not cool.I like to mark up my own version. Thank you.
