TotalBoat Aluminum Boat Paint

Color is perfect, boat looks brand new but it rained 2 days later two small spots on the floor came up. Used a roller to paint and it was the thick areas that came up. Perhaps it was not fully dry.

This paint is really great for aluminum boat. Covers great and a little goes a long way. Follow the instructions and it will last a long time. Painted with a brush and rolled. After it dried it looks like it was spayed on. Paint lays down flat and smooth. Really impressed.

My daughter and I restored my grandpas old 1983 eldocraft 10' jon boat. During the C19 shut down we decided to work on something other than normal house projects, work and school. I was nervous based on the reviews that it would either be SUPER, or SUCK. It was SUPER. Do a good job of cleaning, and setting up your spot. Like others said the first coat seems thin, but once the second goes on it's a done deal. I like the color. It's lighter than the old school standard green, but looks great. We used rollers and a brush for seems and tight spots. It took two quarts do a job that I wanted to say I did, but one might have done well. If sprayed a thinner added to one quart might work. I will just say that rollers and a brush don't leave marks like you might think, it blends and settles awesomely.

We used this paint to cover old paint on a jon boat, both on the inside and the outside. It took 2 coats to look good. So far its holding up ok. Unfortunately it took just over a quart to do the inside and just over a quart to do the outside, so i have lots of leftover paint. The wrong color was sent twice, so the inside is light gray and the outside is green. Used a foam (no nap) roller except where only a brush would work. Dries fast. Would have given 5 stars except for wrong color being delivered 2x and high price of paint.

So, I ordered the Army Green and when I opened the can it was more blue than green. It was still green but not the army green I was hoping for. I sprayed it on my Jon boat and as advertised I reduced it by a little more than the 20% on the label. I went more like 30%, and that was the trick....It laid down perfectly. Overall I am pleased with this product and would purchase it again. My only complaint is the color in the can doesn't match the color pic on the can.
