all good, but I wish it was a little brighter
My wife and I are fortunate enough to live in a house which permits each of us to have our own home office. In the past, there have been times when I was on a call and she'd not realize it until she opened my office door and disturbed me, so I <geek alert> bought a smart plug, connected a few red nightlights to it, and was able to use an app on my phone that would check my calendar and when I was in a meeting, it would turn on that smart switch. When my meeting was over, it would turn off the smart switch.I thought that my solution was brilliant.Only problem is that the electrical outlet was kind of low on the wall and the three red nightlights were not the most attention-getting things (since they're nightlights, not spotlights), so she'd often just not notice that the "I'm in a meeting!" red nightlights were illuminated. Sigh. After a few years of these kinds of incursions, I realized that I needed to step up my "I'm in a meeting" game and I started looking for brighter lights. Eventually, I found this one, safely connected it to a flat plug with a short length of wire taken from an old extension cord, and plugged it into my smart plug.I also put that overhead hallway light on a smart switch and when I'm in a meeting, that hallway light turns off, so the only light in that hallway is my blinking red light! I've only had this arrangement in place for a few weeks, but it does seem to be helping.I also drilled a couple of holes in a small block of wood and fastened the studs of this light to the block and put that on top of a product called an "Easy Outlet Shelf" that slips behind the outlet plate and everything looks pretty tidy and out of the way (well, as best as a big red blinking light connected to an outlet can be "out of the way").A photo of the arrangement is attached.(Funny(?) side-note: We had a couple false alarms from our CO detector and when such devices are professionally monitored, it appears that the monitoring company automatically dispatches fire services, even if the homeowner insists that it was a false alarm. While that response is a little inconvenient for all involved, I can see the reasoning behind their rule. Anyway, when the fire department showed up, the lieutenant saw this hallway-outlet arrangement and encouraged me to dismantle it. Fortunately, one of the items in the photo is temporary and I'm thinking about replacing the smart plug with a smart outlet, both of which should help a little, in case they show up again. :)Oh, the final assessment: inexpensive, easy to connect to power (for me, anyway), and seems like it will last a very long time. I wish that the red light was brighter. (I may continue hunting for something bigger/brighter.)

co-z gate opener
Works great with the CO-Z gate opener. Not too bright, but visible from 200 feet.

Pictured Washers and Nuts were not included.
Good blinker. Missing mounting hardware pictured in the ad. A bit of a hassle for lack of that.
