I've never replaced guitar strings before (I'm a newbie to the instrument) so I was a little intimidated. This thing made it really easy! Plus, it was cheap, which is always a bonus. Highly recommend.

This is a great all in one tool to have in my guitar case. The design could be a little better but overall its something that is usable and saves me from carrying multiple tools

I've bought 2 or 3 of these to save a few bucks.I am starting to think the extra few dollars would have been more worth it.At the very least, the swivel for the string winder is often way to tight to be of much use.There is no bearing or anything, it is just plastic snapped onto plastic so there is a lot of friction.But if you just need something cheap to throw in a gig bag, then you can probably do worse than one of these.UPDATE: Just because my review was less than stellar, this company offered me a refund which i declined.There is a lot to be said for that sort of customer service. It is not their intent and a result of an Amazon shortcoming. They offered and made good on a refund even outside of the refund time period. They did not have to do this and in my opinion illustrates that this is a seller of high integrity that is focused on customer satisfaction. I tip my hat to them and knowing this would never hesitate to buy from them in the future. Upgrading my review to 5 stars for their effort on service. Still, don’t buy this to wind uke strings (the seller would agree).—————The seller of this string tool makes sure that it shows up prominently in searches for a ukulele string winder. They pay for this placement. It does not work on ukelele. Which is unfortunate since I’m outside the return window. I’m stuck with it. Other than that it’s probably fine if you have guitar sized tuners. But it’s pretty cheaply-made plastic unlike some other winders. Including the one I eventually bought that I really like. Good luck.
