I used to practice archaeology and I swore by these boots for many, many years. But in the last few, I’ve noticed the boots tended to break down far quicker than in the past. What was once a boot that could last for many years in harsh conditions has now become one in which the soles consistently break after just a few months with just casual use. I’m sad that these boots aren’t what they once were, but at least they still look good. If you get them, know that you’ll probably need to get another pair of boots pretty soon as well.

I received this item as expected. Sold as used but came in really good condition. Scuff were minor. I like it.

I've been buying this boot in it's various updates for over 5 years and currently have two pair in service. You should not expect more than a year of moderate service from a pair before the sole wears out and cracks. My last 3 pair all developed this issue. If you're the type who likes to replace your boots once a year then you'll be satisfied.
