I used to have a hard plastic file case to hold important documents. But my old case did not lock and was very heavy. I stored it on a high shelf. This replacement case fit all of the documents that I had in my other case, with room to spare. It is soft sided, so if not full, it may collapse a bit, but it is much easier to handle and get in and out of the high area where I store my documents. The lock seems sturdy enough - and is primarily to deter interest in trying to go through my papers. Lots of pockets for small items like credit-card sized items - and passports. I obtained small portfolio folders for items to store in the bottom sections - so that papers would not be loose in the large storage portion of the case. I like the case. So far, it's serving its purpose.

Only just received it. I can't really comment on durability and such because I've only had it for a week. I can comment on practicality. In side you will find a page for putting in Id sized items. In addition there several pages that have pockets an straps for your various documents in.Is looks to be designed to fit a variety of types of documents on each pages, depending on how you use the various straps and picked and such.The picture shows the bag when it's full. Why you get, it's basically flat. Based I the picture, I thought there were gonna be a lot of pages (sort of like a modern acco down file. However there ar only a few pages.One nice feature that I missed in th description, is that it has a built in lock. A nic and practical element. Assuming it's holds up in a disaster, u think it's a good buy.

I had seen the reviews complaining about the zipper, so I was concerned.We have had no such problems. We originally had a small fire safe to hold documents, etc. It was still a bit too heavy for me and it always ended up on a shelf where I bonked myself in the head getting it down.This storage bag has been a good purchase for us as (1) it keeps everything sorted very nicely, (2) fits a three ring binder (will/testament), (3) has a locking combination instead of a key, and (4) it's lighter and more manageable.

Amazing bag, fits both regular and legal sized documents and has a zipper where the vertical space can be expanded. I was impressed with how much this can hold! Have not water tested nor fire tested and the only drawback I found was the handle on the top came off right off the bat. The bag was not even a third full and it brings to question if the handle can bear the weight of it if it were full. The handle aside, the bag itself has been an excellent place to store what I needed.

Not bad material for a paper case. I thought it would’ve been a little bigger. It’s a little tight for all my papers. And I didn’t see anywhere to lock it, not sure if it was included or I missed it. Who knows. I do wish it was a harder material. But I guess it will work for now until we move in a couple months, then I will change to something else.

I liked this so much I bought 4 more for family & friends. I have it ready to pick up & go in an emergency. Best thing I ever bought.

I bought 2 one for me 1 for my mom. I like the idea and it's just the right size. I hope I never have to tell you they didn't work. So for now so far so good.

There is nothing that came attached to, or in the product that states it’s ratings. It does have a weird external feel so maybe that’s the fireproof part? It’s interesting, but I will not be using it as it didn’t come with anything legal to support the claims.
