These are my favorite mugs! Nice and big to hold a lot of hot cocoa. 😏 Just what I wanted! They are sturdy, feel good in the hands and have a strong handle. I bought two and rotate between them because I use them pretty much every day.

This is the second one of these mugs I purchased; I liked the first one so much I wanted another for the house. What I like about this mug: -- The size. It holds a lot -- It is big but looks like a big "regular" coffee mug, just bigger. No weird shape or design. -- The bottom is only slightly tapered and very short, but feels much thicker, so the mug is stable on the table. -- It's not heavy but not light. It feels solid. -- The colors are solid, bright and pleasant. This one is a subdued blue but still rich in color. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because I cannot speak to durability over time. I don't know how it will stand up to being knocked around in the sink because it's new and I'm still being consciously careful because I like the mug and don't want to accidentally break it! If the price stays reasonable, definitely get this if you've been looking for just a big regular mug without froo-froo stuff going on.

I have been using a large 16oz. Waechtersbach yellow mug for years for my morning coffee. The large size holds the heat well and feels good when held against my eyes and face (Did I mentioned that I am not a morning person?). The company went out of business a decade ago and I have been on the search for a replacement for my aged mug. The Smillatte is a good replacement. But, be prepared for a large, heavy cup. The cup weighs 1 lb. 3.5 ounces. It is 4 3/4 inches in height and 3 3/4 inches in diameter. The handle is larger than the mug I was using--I can get three fingers in the handle, (2 3/4 inches) but I have large hands. The rounded base helps avoid hitting the bottom edge when placing in the microwave. I am ready to settle down and have a long-term relationship with this coffee mug. I will update if I find anything to report.

That's a real mug, thick, sturdy, won't trip off the table easily. It's well made. I see no bumps or odd shapes and the color is bright and beautiful as on the picture.

The best tea mugs I have ever owned. Easily 16 oz. And, red for my service in the USMC. I even sent 8 of these in Navy blue to a good friend who is a Navy guy. The only negative is that they are manufactured in China instead of the USA.
