Fixed up the old scratching post like new!
After my two cats used up all the sisal on a prior post, I bought a new one. Obviously, the cats shredded the rope on that one as well -- that's what scratching posts are for. Rather than buy a new post ($35), I bought the sisal (in a larger size than the thin rope on the posts I'd purchased previously) and decided to simply replace the sisal. It was extremely easy. Cut off old, tattered sisal. Staple the end of the new, larger sisal. Wind it tightly around the post base. Staple the end. Then spray it with cat nip. My two cats began using it almost immediately. I'm hoping the larger sisal will last longer.

Exactly what I was looking for
Exactly what I was looking for. I have an expensive cat tree that came with grey sisal which was hard to find, this worked perfectly! It comes in a loose bundle which was easier to work with when wrapping it around the poles. I definitely be purchasing this again!

very nice
I used it to recover my cats scratch pole. It worked very well and had no chemical smell. The color I chose is grey and it stands out very nicely. He has used it for a couple of months and it is holding up to the wear and tear.

Great product
Think and durable. It worked perfectly to repair an old scratch post for my cat. All I had to do was use a glue gun to rewrap the cat post with this rope and it's like new. It was really inexpensive and came with a free sisal-wrapped cat ball!

Decent rope but different than I expected
The photos made it seem like the rope was nice and sleek looking. Perfect for a replacement rope for cat towers. However it has pieces sticking out all over it. I redid my posts on the cat tower, it doesn’t look the best from up close but it’s nice from afar. You can definitely tell where the new rope stops and the old rope begins.

I made it work
Doesn’t come in a roll. Just a long loose string and slightly thicker than the usual robes used on cat trees. I made it work but still not what I expected.

Looks great, cat loves it!
We got this cat tree recently that’s mostly this silver faux fur - well Hugo was having trouble climbing up onto it as the fabric wasn’t very grippy. Added this grey sisal rope (as in picture) and he gets on with it much better! Was really easy to work with, easy to cut to length with a sharp knife and took to the glue used in my hot glue gun very well. I’m going to make a second purchase to add it to other areas of the cat tree that would be of benefit. My thanks to the seller :)

Excellent
Perfect to revamp cat post - expensive but is really hard wearing and you get enough to replace twice. Will purchase again

Very good
This is really thick and strong and my cat loves it.Didn't have enough to finish 2 columns so be careful you buy enough for what you need. But it is well worth the money😺

Discolouration
Used for a cats scratching post, colour faded within a week. Supposed to be grey.
