Not ideal as a "trainer" cup
Positives:Easy to clean and sterlise (I've sterilised in boiing water, and also in my steam steriliser)Handles are the right size for little handsNegatives:-The teat is definitely more "free flow" than the spout. In fact the spout is not free flow at all and I could only get liquid out by squeezing on it. I don't understand how the spout is meant to provide the 2nd stage of training. I ended up only using the teat.- When I sterilised in boiling water the first time, the water turned slightly blue (colour of the bottle!), which is slightly concerning- For a trainer cup, I feel this is too big. I was using this to offer sips of water to my daughter when starting solids. Unless you fill up the bottle with a large volume of liquid, the bottle has to be tilted back quite a lot for the fluids to flow out, which young babies generally won't be able to do. If you do fill it up so that it doesn't have to be tilted back too much then it's too heavy for a baby to lift up and drink from comfortably. So in that sense I don't feel that it's ideal for babies who are trying to learn how to drink independently. In the end, I ended up buying the Tommy Tippee first free flow cup - cheaper, and easier to drink small volumes from

Not what you expect
So the teat that came on the bottle had no hole at all, and the secondary one had a hole so big that when my 10 month old turns the bottle upside down it pours all over him in a consistent stream. They're NOT self sterilising as it says in the description, and they go up in 50ml measurements when every modern baby feed goes in 30ml increments. The only good points are the handle is easy to attach and detach, and the lid has a little measurement guide up to 50ml or 1.5US Oz (don't know how useful that is here in the UK)

Transition teat doesn’t let milk out?!
The bottle itself is great and nice compact size, fast flow teat is fine although does collapse a lot when baby is using it, the transition teat is the problem.. absolutely no milk comes out when baby sucks.. I tried it myself and couldn’t get any out either… definitely not easy to drink from!! I ended up chucking it away and now looking for a different transition bottle instead

Not great
Unfortunately I had high hopes for this little cup as my son has used one from the MAM range before. I have been trying to transition him from bottles and thought this may help. However it is incredibly difficult to drink from, the suction required to get even a tiny bit of liquid out is crazy. I tried it myself as my son was getting upset and it is useless. Not worth the purchase.
