Should of stayed with my XD5
Easy to fit but seems like you can only create your loop in the specific way shown and the flow seems really sensitive to if you place things higher than the ports.ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE TO BLEED. The videos just show the guy turning the pump on (using the bridging block and with the PWM cable removed for max RMP) and it just blows the air bubbles through. That does not happen. I have now emptied and refilled this loop 4 times (the last time to connect it up exactly like in the video (which kind of take the ‘custom’ out of custom loop)) and each time was a nightmare to bleed and the first 3 times I could not fully bleed it. Even with turning the whole case upside down, left, right trying to guide the air out. I have never had this issue before with other pumps. The pump really feels underpowered, even at max RMP the flow seems really low and again the XD5 I have just used to blow air out almost instantly and this seems to really really struggle. The highest point is the 12 o’clock position on the 3rd chamber but the port for air to get out is at 7 o’clock, and then has to pass thought all your radiators to then come back in under that port, to then get into the reservoir where you can release the air.Would not recommend and would definitely return if it wasn’t now full of red dyed coolant.
