Thanks.** A: Yes you could play bass with them . I would find them a bit small. I prefer a wider pick for bass myself **Q: What thickness are these picks?** A: 1.5mm with bevelled edges to allow a finer level of control **Q: the product details state that I need a pair of AA batteries for this product. where do they go?** A: Plectrums are thick but were not suitable for me as I needed one that I could grip and was flexible. It may be ok for a bass guitar but as I have never played base I cannot honestly say. I did try out the battery idea and it fitted nicely into the packaging with the plectrums but did not seem to do anything. I spent many hours trying to insert the battery into the plectrum but to no avail. In the end rather than throw the battery away I inserted it into a clock, and it works just fine. I would recommend all pick users to try these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent. *by L***S on 27 October 2024* I bought the pink larger ones after making the mistake of ordering the green smaller ones. The quality is nice and they are thick, and I like that the picking end is pointed rather than curved. I drop one star for two VERY MINOR points. On all the plectrums there is a sharp bit on the curved edge which I assume is from the mould or frame- it needed nothing more than a quick rub with a bit of sand paper to smooth it out but this was on all the picks and should really be something completed at quality control. The only other point is that I would prefer the pick up be wider, because of the pointed end they seem to run off to the point too quickly meaning I keep dropping them when playing.
