Really good replacement. Magnets are strong. Sound quality is almost the same as the originals. Good sweat resistance.

Perfect for people who sweat a lot like myself. Especially during the hotter months, wearing the originals without any covers led to too much sweat absorption and odor, necessitating washing them weekly or biweekly. I tried some rubber covers from Amazon, but they seemed to exacerbate the heat and cause more sweating. This pair seems to be the perfect in-between. The coating on the cushions prevents the fabric underneath from absorbing your sweat, and they do not exacerbate the heat like the rubber covers. The sweat is also very easy to wipe off or will go away on its own, eliminating the need to wash them.

At first, I didn’t even know you could replace the pads on Beats headphones and had been sitting with aging headphones and peeling leather until I happened to find these here.I quickly ordered them and started preparing to figure out how I’d actually change them (since I didn’t realize the old pads could be peeled off prior to looking at this product). Reading a few of the reviews and checking out a video, I learned you could use a knife - or the tool provided - to pry the old pads off. I decided to wait until the pads came before attempting to dismantle my headphones even though I had no longer been using them for some time due to leather shedding from the old pads.Once these came, I started prying the old pads off (which are fairly easy to remove with the tool). Make sure you clean the old adhesive residue with the provided wipe to ensure the new ones are sticking to the headphones. I personally went over with alcohol and paper towel after doing a wipe down with the provided wipe. I let the headphones sit for a while before actually putting the new pads on (not necessary but I did it since I was doing other things as well).After that, it was easy as putting the new pads on and just applying pressure to ensure it stuck. Honestly, I wouldn’t even be able to tell these weren’t the original pads; they looked good as new and still provided the same noise cancellation as the originals (though the pads themselves are not what delivers the cancellation anyway).A good investment if you want to just customize your headphones with a new color or replace old, worn pads. I’m already looking for more pads to use in the future that I can customize.I can’t speak on durability as I literally have not even had them for 24 hours but will update if negatively impacted.

My original ear pads got very messed up and I was super happy when I discovered they could be replaced! The first 2 pictures shows my original ear pads placed above the new ones so you can see slight differences. The original had a gray lining where as the new ones are white, and the foam lining on the back is yellow on the original as opposed to white, but I don’t think these differences make much of a difference at all.I did take away one star due to installation. You have to be very careful when prying off the old ear pads, I did damage the silver rim ever so slightly. The real reason I took away the star though was because this came with only 2 cleaning wipes, and one of them was completely dry. I had a very hard time getting all the old sticky gunk off the headphones, and actually having 2 cleaning wipes would have helped more...Overall I am happy that I was able to put new ear pads on my headphones for so little money!

I was more then upset when my very expensive Apple Beats studio headphone pads started to disintegrate after casual use. I had resigned myself to buying a pair of cheaper headphones whern my search stumbled upon these replacement pads. The price was right and I figured if they didn’t work out I was just out some time. Boy was I surprised. These pads come with clear instructions and a heavy duty pry wedge to assist you in getting under the plastic rings that hold the old pads.My old pads were literally turning to dust and I found it easier and a lot less messy to just pull off the pads then use the pry bar to remove the old plastic ring on each ear. Do NOT put the new pads on the old ring. This will ruin your sound and probably lead to the pads falling off to soon. For a part under $20 this is a no brainer. Just male sure you get the right pads for your headset.

The only thing that prevented an all around 5 star rating was the lack of instructions. I shall explain...first thing the video attached to the item online does not have volume so I feel I may have missed a step that wasn’t detectable on the video. I figured out how to replace with the exception of not noticing a notch on one of the ear pads (right one I guess). This is to be installed where the charging cable goes into the charging port. I installed on the opposite side whereas I had to make a small or large enough cut away to make it fit. Had there been a little note, “Important make sure you install the ear pad with the notch or indented side on the right ear or where the charging part is to ensure a good fit”. A small thing perhaps but would have prevented my making a cut into my already installed new ear pads to allow a flush fitting. Outside of that I made it work and tested great!

Im not sure why there are any negative reviews, because i think these are great! Ive had no problem with the strength of the magnets! These are a great affordable replacement!
