OK, but not great...
A bit flimsy. VERY small and light when folded. It should last as long as it is not abused. It seems to be OK for a hollow body guitar and for a Stratocaster. Pretty stable when guitar is in place.WARNING: If your electric cord comes out of the strap holder at the base of the guitar, the 1/4 inch jack is too long and the guitar will not fit when the jack is in place. You'll need a cord with a right angle jack, or another stand.

"Rest Assured" Guitar Stand
Great travel guitar stand! Folds up into a small light weight package that fits easily into a back pack. Has non-marring feet that help it stay put on both carpet and hard surfaces. The stand is adjustable for both electric and acoustic guitars. Just make sure to measure your acoustic if it has an extra deep body. Folds out quickly and the cross brace snaps into the locked position, holding the legs apart should it get bumped. The rest does have to be placed back in the widest position in order to fold it back up. Not a problem, just a design compromise to get it to fold up as small as possible. I bought it for my wife's acoustic to use in the living room so she wouldn't have to move a stand around the house. I have since taken it on vacation and used it in motels, camping, and even in a van while traveling! I use it with a travel electric and the adjustable guitar rest works smoothly to securely hold the instrument. It looks like I may have to buy another one for myself since my wife wants her's back!

Wish I tried one of these earlier.
This is one heck of a stand! When folded it is a lot bigger than I thought it would be but it still fits in some guitar bags and cases and it does a great job of holding not just standard shape guitars. Both a Mockingbird and a Jazzmaster can sit in it securely to my pleasant surprise. None of the other small portable stands I have tried will hold either of those shapes. I bought a small metal folding one from China on Ebay and I could not believe how bad it was. I got a refund. It would literally not hold anything. Any guitar I put in it would fall over. Thankfully, I had the presence of mind to leave my hand there so nothing was allowed to actually fall. This one though is twice the size of the one that did nothing. I wish they could make it smaller but now that I see it, I don't see how that could be done. I still love this and give it 5 stars for everything. It has a real quality feel, seems like it will be durable, and it is very easy to open and close without risk of skin pinching or breaking a nail. I can say without qualification to get this if you need a stand that folds small and holds a wide variety of shapes and sizes and I have seen others that look comparable selling for twice as much.

Decent student guitar stand. Works in a pinch but wobbly.
This stand is a lightweight, plastic A-frame with fold-out supports that keep the guitar off the ground. The cross bar in the frame locks in place. The plastic construction is relatively strong but not very thick. Very few parts have crosshatching to provide additional structural stability. Therefore several of my acoustic guitars cause the stand to wobble, making me nervous. When folded, the stand takes up just as much room as a normal metal tripod stage holder, without offering as much stability. Seems to be a cheap way to keep a student guitar off the ground during lessons, but not a robust solution for the gigging musician.

So nice I bought it twice
Just bought a second one of these to replace the first one I left at a venue the other night. My rig is stupid portable—Quilter 101 head mounted on a Pedal Train Jr. with my 4 pedals and going into a 1x10" Marshall cab with an Eminence Ramrod speaker. Loud enough to melt faces but small enough that I can carry it all in one go. This stand is perfect for that! It folds into something the size of a large water bottle and easily fits in my pedalboard/amp bag. It's light but the first one never broke on me after being drug around to various venues for the last couple of years.

This stand Rocks!
This stand was a pleasant surprise. It doesn't mar the finish on my acoustics. It is reasonably difficult to knock over with a guitar in it. I can do it if I try. But I have to try. It's light weight. It folds up reasonably compactly. So I can throw it in my day-pack and carry it with me. I can also stash it under my car seat.Whoever designed this should be very proud of their work. They put a lot of thought into and pulled it off nicely. This stand rocks.

Sturdy, Functional, lightweight guitar stand that works for acoustics and electrics
I have a metal guitar stand that does about the same thing, but it is heavy and larger. This is lightweight, fits in a shopping bag that I used to carry my music books, and it is as functional or more functional than the metal stand that I have. So portability is the big advantage for me of this stand. Despite it being light weight and plastic it is also sturdy. It also doesn't have any pieces jutting out to get caught on things in the bag like my metal stand. It folds into a nice smooth shape. A woman I know had one in her purse and after I saw it I had to get one. It was so portable.

Foldable, holds a guitar, easy to travel with.
I got this for when I go jam with friends. Eventually I want to set the guitar down. It's not on stage, it's in a house. I'm not sure it would hold up to a world tour, and I don't know if I would use this in my own home (you could but there are nicer options for more $). But as an easy travel stand? Yes. A few people saw this and said "I need to get me one of those). Works well enough to hold your guitar a few minutes while you take a break.

Good thought was put to this versatile guitar stand
Good thought was put to this versatile guitar stand, but the plastic brace that hold the legs on its place can break easily if you're not careful. Once it's broken, the stand might not be use or your precious guitar is in danger of falling.
