The quality and look is great, it's just that the measurements and fit pose a problem for different snouts. You're gonna have to make some makeshift adjustments if they don't fit out the box. Or else it's great.

My dog loves it, he feels comfortable in it, infact sleep it it too at times, definitely eating random things from the floor and barking excessively has stopped, he can even drink water from it and, i don't have to struggle to make him wear it, he puts his mouth it by himself, that's what made say it's convenient and comfortable to him, all in all loved it's material and the fit

The product in itself is of very good quality .. to touch or see looks extremely expensive … only drawback is it somehow doesn’t fit my shih tzu as described which should not have been the case.. not recommended for breeds with small snouts

It appeared to fit my German Shepard mix okay but unfortunately he was still able to figure out how to pull it enough to get his head through the top strap. When I tugged on it it did not look like he would be able to do that but after the first time(took a few hours) he got quicker at getting off (bout 20 min). He of course proceeded to chew it up, that is why he is being muzzled in the first place because he tries to eat just about everything and this is the last ditch effort after he tried eating some bulbs(toxic), a hat, a chain link fence(to get the other dog out of the kennel), the AC, the wires undercarriage of a car, etc.

This muzzle is GREAT! I’ve never been able to cut my dog’s nails due to him freaking out and trying to bite my face off. I’m tired of spending $20 every time I need to take him to the vet to get them cut, so this does exactly what I need. Of course someone still has to hold him, but he can’t bite. It has enough room for me to give him treats though the nose hole and comfort him if needed. Only issue I have is the strap that goes over the nose and under the chin that are connected directly to the top and bottom of the muzzle though the small hole seem to have detached from it, but I was able to slip them back on. Just have to watch them to make sure they don’t come off in the future. Otherwise this does the job perfectly.

I was a little apprehensive about this purchase - since I was really looking for something more in the "wire cage" look (you know, like on the original "Lady and the Tramp" cartoon). No, I don't have a vicious dog - just one that won't let a wound on her foot heal without constantly licking it. I had tried the "collar of shame" - both the plastic and the "soft" versions - she would pull those off within minutes. This muzzle really works well. She can drink AND EAT while wearing it (the eating part was a surprise to me, but she does a sideways move to force kibble between the openings in the muzzle). Very easy to size and adjust, and although she was able to get it off the first couple of tries, after some adjustment of the straps, it now stays on despite her constant attempts to pull it off... I've noticed that she still can partially get her tongue out to lick the wound, but with the muzzle on, she can't get the "collar of shame" off - so the combo of the two does the trick!

This fits my dog great. These are his measurements: 8” around the snoutEye to tip 3”Back of neck to tip 9”Width 2.5”Closed height 2”Largest pant around 10.5/11”I purchased a sz 2. He is mixed amstaff/chihuahua and weighs approximately 28lbs. He can eat treats in this and with the head strap it does not come off. He is muzzle conditioned so it’s not an issue. We were able to successfully get his booster shots without any worries that he’d tear into the vet tech. He is reactive to tools and new people touching him. I highly recommend this muzzle! I like that it covers his teeth better than the open basket types. And you can’t beat the price.

We thought this product would be good for our dog. We just needed him to not lick a spot on his body. And *when he was obliging*, this worked well. However, we saw what happens when he didn't want it on and this product INSTANTLY failed. And I do mean *instantly*. I barely got out "No!!" before it was in two pieces. We were taking his sibling out to be groomed and had him in the muzzle and just out him in the kennel. He got upset. One hard paw swipe and a head jerk layer, and the muzzle was in two pieces. The softer plastic grey layer is held to the harder black piece by... Nothing? A thin layer of glue? A tiny channel that it fits in? It definitely is nothing substantial. If your dog no longer wants this on, it takes nothing for them to just rip it off.If you're walking a large dog with this on and they have aggression issues, I would not use this product. It's not safe if, the moment they get upset, their mouth can be entirely free with such little effort.AVOID. 0 stars.
