Not built to last
Used 3 times and went to remove it to take it inside to work and it snapped off. Definitely would not recommend. It's already garbage.Edit: the company behind the product asked me to revise my rating stating that they would send me another unit. I've agreed to revise the rating temporarily until I've inspected the new unit to see if the bracket on this one is as weak as my last one was. I will say that while the bracket broke the light itself survived a couple major tumbles after my emergency superglue fix failed on a night commute. The light itself is also quite bright. My review is still a not recommended for the time being though. The bracket simply isn't good enough to justify the rest of this purchase.Edit 2: haven't heard anything from this company since they emailed me asking me to change my review in exchange for a replacement. No replacement has arrived and I'm not sure one is coming. I'll update this review if it does but until then assume they haven't sent it. Which seems pretty shady to say the least.

Nice bright light
Nice bright light. 5 stars for brightness.I commute by bike a few days per week and with the recent time change, all I can see when biking at 6pm is actually nothing. The simple small LED bike light I have to begin with just doesn't cut it, when I am biking on the trail (read: no street lamps). In fact I did own a different light (UGOE: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M8SZX04/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_51). It was a good light until it just popped out of its holder and fell to its death. This one had only one review, but so cheaper than many others, so I decided to take a plunge. Here are the pros and cons:Pros:- Very bright light.- There are two strobe settings, one of which is better than the usual-stroke-inducing-strobes. I don't use it often though. On the trail I just use the regular light, and when I hit the city roads, I sometimes use the strobe to draw attention (but all the reflectors on the road light up and down when this is on).- Sturdy make and heavy (may be a con if you have a carbon fiber bike that can be lifted with one finger).Cons:- It took me a minute to figure out where the connector to charge the light is. I almost thought this is not rechargeable.- Attaching to the handle was not easy. Struggled a lot and then attached without the additional clamp they have given. So the light has not fit in snugly. Might be a positive if you wanted to adjust the direction of the light often (so as to not blind oncoming pedestrians/bikers).- Instructions are, understandably, poor quality. These cons are a bit annoying but were not sufficient to take off one more star.

Died in less than a week!
Update: The front lens fell off of the headlight during riding! Who knows where, but I found the emitter hanging out of the lens when I reached my destination. It is no longer usable. This is just a cheap product that does not hold up. Do Not BUY!!!!!!The headlight is very bright and works great. It does not sit completely secure in the housing, so there is a rattle. The headlight is also very heavy. The tail light worked for a couple of days and then lost its charge. When attempting to charge, the insertion of the charging cable broke the charge housing within the light itself. The light no longer works. Less than a week!

Front light is bright; Taillight no longer work without a power source
I am giving this three stars because the tail light no longer work after 20 hours of ride time, even after having been charged. I have to connect it to a back-up power source like a Mophie for it to be lit. However, it flickers now, when it used to not do that. The flickering is okay with me because it's a tail light and it can appear to look like it's a weird blinking light. When it was working there is no warning that the battery requires charging and shuts off despite my having charged it for several hours before going on a ride with the dogs. The only charge indicator color is orange. The front light is bright even at its lowest setting and has required 4 charges. The mount quickly connects to the bike without tools. The light quickly connects or disconnects from the mount and feels very heavy. The casing appears to be made of some sort of metal, which I was not expecting because most of these lights, like the tail light, are made mostly of plastic. When fully charged the charge indicator is blue and is red when low.Because the tail light suddenly stopped working after a short time, I am buying a different set to keep with me in case the front light unexpectedly puckers out while I'm out riding.

Useful beam
The headlight has a bright beam at it's highest setting with an excellent pattern. The lower power settings are useful as well. There is a strobe setting and a flashing setting. The cycle is: lowest power, higher power, highest power, strobe, flashing. The light's case seems to be sturdily built. The taillight is has three levels of brightness in the solid light setting. Two levels of brightness when flashing and there is a strobe setting.Press and quickly release for solid light: press again for each following power level (will repeat cycle). Press and hold to turn off.To access the flashing light and strobe, press and hold while turning on light. Press again to increase power, press again for strobe (will repeat cycle). The taillight is very visible at night and bright enough to be noticed during the day.
