I have a scratched cornea that never completely healed and I use this every night at bedtime. If I don’t, I run the risk of the eyelid attaching to the cornea and causing it to rupture again. I used another similar product but it stung so this solution is worth the price. It is thick and creamy and easy to apply.

The Opthamology department at the Mayo Clinic insisted on this product after I had surgery. It was difficult to find according to my specialists. I ordered five. And informed Mayo where the patients could find this item.

This is an eye drop product I must use 2x/day. It is always available thru Pharmapacs. My pharmacy does not always have this product as eye drops but as ointment. So this has become a convenient way to just order & receive.

Drops sting as warned by my optometrist.

I have been using the ointment for 25 years. Other than greasy eyes in the morning it is terrific! I ordered this by mistake. It works but as someone else wrote, it burns my eyes for a couple of seconds. Wish I could have returned it but it was my fault for not realizing it was drops not the ointment.
