desertcart.com: WiFi Extender : Electronics Review: The Little WiFi Upgrade That Helps Every Corner Stay Connected - I’m very impressed with this WiFi extender. It has a clean, modern design and looks easy to place anywhere in the home without taking up much space. The multiple antennas give it a strong and reliable appearance, which makes it feel like a great solution for improving weak signal areas. What I like most is how practical it is for everyday use. It is perfect for helping extend WiFi coverage to bedrooms, offices, living rooms, garages, or spots where the connection usually feels slower. The design looks simple and user-friendly, which is great for anyone who wants better internet coverage without a complicated setup. Overall, this is a very useful product for a modern home. It helps create a smoother connection experience for streaming, browsing, working, and using smart devices. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it. Review: Good Network Extender - E My house is around 1700 SF but the signal was weak inside the garage which is about 200 ft away from the router. Easy to install. Took a few seconds after pressing the WPS button on the router. Works great. I now have a strong signal for The smart garage opener and smart thermostat. After locating the best location for the extender, I have no dropped connections anywhere in the house. Note that the extender will cover both electrical outlets. It would be nice if the electrical prongs were not located on one end of the extender.

Unbelievably Frustrating
I tried the WPS setup. Very easy but it didn’t work. Tried the Cat 5 cable hookup. Nope. It’s going back. Life’s too short. Seller contacted me. Gave me instructions. Tried the WPS setup. Nothing. Tried the cable. Nope. Plugged it in. Power light comes on. Open your phone. Settings. Find it. It’s gonna be “Netfun.ext”. Give it your server password. It works. Then move it where you want.

Did not work well
I bought this to have WiFi into my garage (attached). I could get a weak signal before I installed this product so I figured it would do just fine. The install was very easy and it was working. After about a day or so it would drop the signal every 15-20 min then come back. I tried restarting the router and even calling tech support (what a joke). After deal with this for a week I tried to move it closer to the WiFi router maybe that was the issue. It continued to have the same issue. I ended up going to wal mart and spending another 80$ on a good one and have not had a single issue. So in my opinion if you are looking to buy this product save your money and buy a better one (net gear).

Gives great coverage
I like how easy it was to set up my TV at my workshop, which is 70 feet away from the house works great on the Internet I can stream videos, movies, Internet, anything I want it works absolutely great but I do have one problem I cannot figure out for some reason my phone will not connect to the Internet through it my iPhone connects to the extender, but every time it says no Internet and my TV will be working right away TV works great right next to my phone and it’s on there and it’s got Internet connection but my phone always says no Internet connection. What can I do about this? Anybody have the same problem with an iPhone

Look no further!
We moved into our home about 8 months ago and we have had the absolute worst wifi range/signal in our home and horrible wifi connection with all of our devices. Our home was built in 1921, so old heavy wooden doors throughout the house, second floor is the same. Original old wood doors on all bedrooms and bathroom. Plaster walls throughout the entire house. Needless to say, I couldn’t get a good wifi connection in the room right next to where our router is located, let alone upstairs or outside. My main problem was connecting to my ring doorbell camera and my indoor camera I use to watch my son while he takes a nap and throughout the night. So, after a couple of months debating on whether or not to purchase a wifi booster/range extender, I finally gave in and WOW! I still cannot believe how much of a difference this little tiny device makes! It couldn’t have been more simple to set up too. I plugged it in by my back door which is literally 40 feet away from my router which is located at the very front of the house, and just like that we have an amazing wifi connection in every part of our home! My favorite part is the wifi connection I get all the way to the back fence in my backyard. Prior to getting the wifi extender, I’d lose wifi connection as soon as I started out the back door. Not good for when my son is napping and I need to get yard work done… no wifi, no camera. I was constantly running back n forth in and out checking on him. This has given me such a peace of mind knowing I can go anywhere in my home and watch my son and also see who’s outside my front door with my ring doorbell camera! Don’t pay the big bucks for any other device. As a mom and someone who is very calculated with spending/bills/ budgets, this is a must have and I’m betting you won’t be disappointed. Just a little reference, my home is 1,470 square feet and outside yard is about the same. It covers literally the entire property inside and out. !!!

Great range and easy setup
I just got my Netfun WiFi Extender-300Mbps setup and connected to my home network. First: I scanned the QR code for the 18 month extended warranty. It was easy to complete the very few questions to register. I believe in registering everything I buy. It has saved me a lot a money and frustration down the road. The year and a half warranty is unusual in the home electronics. Second: I am very pleased with the clear instructions. At first I saw the tiny user setup paper and was worried this was just another set of instructions that were incomplete and not clearly written. But Netfun obviously made an effort to help the customer understand the setup process. I might suggest blank spaces be put on the instruction sheet to record the MAC, Serial number, defaults- password, IP, URL. Third: I was given TWO methods of setup, mobile phone and computer. Both were very simple. Then it goes on to explain the other modes of operation. Explanations were clear well defined. I installed the Netfun Extender in my house garage. It is the opposite end of my home. I wanted to extend my network signal to my workshop about 130ft away from the garage. I checked to see how strong the signal strength was at the fringe of my network area. I was happy to see 4 of 5 bars signal strength inside the metal building. The entire process from opening the box to complete installation was about 30 minutes. By far the easiest install of an extender I have done. Netfun has my attention. I will be looking for more products from them. Attached is a picture of the extender in my garage. You can see the Netfun Extender in very lower right corner. The distance to the workshop can be seen outside. (In the center of the photo is the TP-Link extender I am replacing) Just a few more simple steps to setup, plug in wall, and connect the security camera in the shop.

Did not improve my wifi to my security cameras
I had hoped by installing this device that it would improve, even marginally, the wifi reception to my outdoor Blink cameras. I don't have an issue with wifi in my home. This device didn't improve wifi to the cameras at all, so I contacted the company. While their tech support was friendly and polite, I found it very concerning that I was told I needed to switch to "bridge mode" for it wifi to improve for my cameras and unfortunately, when you follow the steps to switch to bridge mode, it necessitates you entering your wifi password--and also both Firefox and Duckduckgo warned me the site where this was done was not secure. I am not about to reveal my wifi password, period, and on a non-secure site? Nope! And while the company assured me it was safe, I told them I wanted to return the device for a refund. Instead they refunded me in full and told me to offer the device to someone else. I thank them for that. Just be aware that if you do buy this hoping to improve wifi reception with your outdoor cameras, you might be told you have to switch to bridge mode and if you are, you'll have to reveal your wifi password on a non-secure site. I leave it up to other potential buyers to decide if the risk is worth it.
