The collar is made of sturdy nylon strapping with sturdy connections. I don't think you will find a better head collar for any amount. I've had head collars that cost over double the price of this one and wasn't any better quality if as good. The fit is perfect for my dog. I we dubious about ordering an XXL size for my dog but as stated the fit is perfect.
