This is fantastic book for beginner learning Mahjong. I bought 3 of them for my friends learning how to play as well. Love it

This is presented in simple, graphic terms for anyone learning Mah Jongg. Although I've now played several times with others and someone who knew the game to coach us, I still need to refer to this often to verify which tiles go with which and the sequence of playing. It's nice that it has large lettering and photos so you can find things quickly.

The other MahJong ladies in my group bought it after seeing my book.

I have always been intimidated by Mahjong, yet this book has changed all of that. The author explains the rules in a very easy to absorb way. She uses pictures as well as words to lay out the rules in short bursts. Although the book looks childish on its surface, it is exactly how this complex game needs to be taught!! Brava to the author!

Excellent to understand and a great aid to have to learn the play. Would recommend this to any new player and a great refresher for the seasoned player.

Didn’t hate it, but I was anticipating more information on the game. It took me *maybe* half an hour to read this.On an aesthetic note, the font used was large, but very narrow, which didn’t make it easy to read.
