Unlike other sensitive teeth toothpastes, this type of Crest uses stannous fluoride (0.454%). This is absolutely the ingredient that helps desensitize my teeth. If you find that other 'sensitive toothpaste' types don't work for you and they don't have this ingredient, give this one a try.
