Good for it's price
It's 100% plug and play with extra software if you need to change the orientation or do any other customization. The size is great for keeping in a bag when you aren't using it, and it doesn't take up too much space while still feeling like you have enough to draw whatever you feel. It feels fairly durable and the buttons do not seem to be of concern.

Great for teaching
This is a graphics tablet for computer or phone use. The tablet measures 11”x6.75”x0.25”, which a “screen size” of 8”x5”. It comes with a stylus, a stylus holder, a bag of spare stylus nibs, a USB A to USB C cable, USB A to C and USB A to micro adapters, and a paper quickstart guide. The tablet has programmable buttons and controls. To use this tablet with a computer, you download the driver, which enables you to interface with software like Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, for example), and program the buttons on the tablet. To use with a phone, you download the Huion sketch app. The tablet is powered via the same USB cable that carries the data to your device. To use this tablet with a phone, you will need a phone with a USB C port or a USB C to micro adapter (included).I really like the performance of this tablet for teaching. The tablet is very easy and intuitive to use, and writing on it is much easier than writing on a blackboard. It pairs very well with PowerPoint and Zoom for online teaching. It also works well with PowerPoint and projectors for hybrid classes. The small 8”x5” format is great for portability, and I find the screen provides all the room I need for notations. It’s also fun to use this tablet for artwork. It’s great for making sketches for cutting on my Cricut machine. Overall, this is a well made, easy to use graphics tablet.

As usual with my Huion devices, Linux software is useless and the device will fail within months.
I should have expected this outcome, as the same has been the case with my previous purchases from Huion. The device began failing and has become extremely unreliable and completely useless. It reports random pressure values the instant you start to hover the pen over the tablet and when it seems to behave slightly correctly, it only reports between 1/2 and 1/4 of the actual pressure being applied, as compared to the state of it fresh out of the box. This began to happen within 3 months of purchasing the device. It has never been dropped, crushed, hit, or damaged in any way. I used it normally and it just began to fail at random. The other major note is that the device is completely unsupported on linux. There exists official software for linux, but I have yet to find a distro or computer that the device actually functions or is even correctly detected on.As a person who has chosen to try to trust Huion again and again over the years, I realize these products will never be worth my time.

Perfect size for presentations
HUION Inspiroy H580X Drawing Tablet 8x5 Inch Digital Graphics Tablet Chromebook Supported Tilt Function Battery-Free Stylus 8192 Pen Pressure and 8 Express KeysI've used drawing tablets for years, typically during design reviews or for adding notes and diagrams to scanned documents. My large tablet works great in my office but is harder to work with in a conference room. This tablet is an ideal companion for my laptop - not too large and not too small. The stylus works well, and the pressure sensitivity is proportional to applied pressure. It works with Windows 10 out of the box, but you'll need to install the Huion driver to enable all the features and customizations. The USB-A to USB-C cable that comes with feels much more flexible and durable than most USB cables and the USB-C end is a 90-degree connector, so you can always have the cord pointed away from you regardless of whether you put the tablet on the left or right side or if you use it vertically or horizontally. It's been a great tablet so far and I hope to get years of use out of it.

The perfect size for me
I have a large 10 x 6 tablet and it's huge. I like it, but when you're working in photoshop it's just too much area and I have to designate a small area for working on the surface itself so my hand isn't constantly going from top to bottom.I've tried smaller tablets, but those have lacked buttons and I like those for zooming, undo, and controlling brush size. With the Huion 8" x 5" I find the size to be just about perfect. I can have it in front of my keyboard and it doesn't take up a lot of desk real estate, and the buttons are programmable. This is another winner for Huion. The pen works like a dream and comes with a small stand that unscrews to reveal several replacement pen nibs. This is a really good value.

good for drawing or marking the drawings
It is good for someone who is a professional artist. I use it to make marking in my images or screenshots I take. The size is good and the pen works fine. I like the fact that you don't need to charge the tablet or the pen. The tablet connects using the USB cable and the pen is wireless and does not need power or charging.

So happy with it so far
Long time Wacom user that was really excited to learn that the latest Huion update now allows you to have up to 3 devices connected at onceI have a Kamvas 22 plus and missed drawing on a tablet from time to time. I bought this since it was compatible with the newest driver and love the way it feels and the low footprint it takes up on my desk. Drawing tablets have really come a long way for the price you pay. So happy I chose this one!

likes to randomly disconnect
not sure if the tablet that I got is defective or something, it worked amazingly for the first couple days for osu/doing digital art, but in the first week it would start to disconnect at random and now about 2 months after owning this tablet it is barely usable. it disconnects multiple times an hour and I have to fiddle with the cord to get it to work again! have tried using other usb C cords to no avail, think that the port is just low quality. its sad because this would be a perfect budget tablet if not for these problems.

Good for the price
It worked well as a writing tablet on a laptop but not when used for tutoring on my Chromebook using zoom.

Better than Wacom
Has much more accuracy pressure levels than Wacom for the similar product price range also lower cost for beginners. However, this doesn't mean it's only for beginner users - it is also for the user who wants it to be portable light and thin drawing tablet on the go.
