Logitech Webcam C200

At this price, this camera is awesome. I bought it when it was slightly more expensive as a gift to family overseas. We had to try it out before sending it. It works perfectly and our friends on the other side of the monitor said it gave better picture than our camera which is the logitech pro 9000 (supposedly best). But our other camera is already 3-4 years old and this one is brand new so maybe it performed better because of that reason. I can see that this one blurs you easily when you move too fast, so it is not of the same quality as ours, but for the price it is a great buy. Sound was clear too.By the way, I didn't use the disk it came with, it installed itself within a minute and was ready to use. So it definitely is plug and play if you have a windows 7 computer.

If you or someone is receiving this product as a gift or for general use, then this product does the trick. Easy to install, VID software is step by step to install and the quality and microphone work just fine if you are using it to chat with family. Taking a picture is good quality. If this is your first time experimenting with video conferencing then use this product first. In expensive to get and as you use it more you realize just what more in quality you want to purchase next. It is very durable and performs just great when using Skype too.

I was totally unimpressed with the refresh rate - it was no better than the old one I already had. Definitely would recommend a newer model - I was given a Logitech C270 that works much better. There's still a slight refresh lag, but something I can live with.

Very good quality! Much better than the Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 that I got two years ago. (That one is still for sale for around 30 bucks.) This little Logitech webcam was less than half the price, but seems to be twice the quality of the Microsoft one. It has much better video quality (better colors, clearer picture) and the audio is also quite clear. When I first used this webcam to Skype with my family, their first reaction was, "Whoa! This is a much better picture than usual!" Additionally, I like that it has motion-sensing capabilities, so if I wanted to know what was going on at home when I'm gone, I could set it to turn on and record when it senses motion. Was very easy to set up.

I like this product, Compared to what Mac webcams cost, this does a fantastic job for the price. Its very easy to install, i didn't even use the cd it comes with as the comp recognized it on its own. I seem to have a problem where the picture freezes while im chatting but its a quick fix, at the push of a button it restarts and is not a big issue. Other than that its perfect and I use it with Skype almost everyday.

Like all Logitech products, the C200 webcam is attractive and built to last. It's innovative design makes it a handy to hook onto flat screen monitors and it works well. When it arrived, my granddaughter asked me when I was going to install it for her. I told her that now she is 10 years old, I felt that she should be able to unpack it and read the directions and install it herself. She took the box and ran off to her bedroom computer. I went back ten minutes later to see how she was doing and she already had it installed and was on a video chat room with other kids her age. So, although I did not install it, I assume that installation is a piece of cake. Logitech C250 Webcam (Grey)

This webcam may work for both Mac and PC, but I would not recommend it for use with a Mac. Logitech does not seem to support any advanced features for this cam. There are no software downloads for Mac that are available for PC. I am using this cam for looking outside to post to an internet site, and the quality just isn't there. I know that it does not have a high resolution, but that was not required for looking outside. I bought this and a Logitech mouse at the same time and the mouse is having the same issues. This will be the last time I buy Logitech for my Macintosh computers.

Very happy with this webcam ordered via Amazon.com Promp delivery. Top quality. I love Logitech products, their quality control rates on their products seem to reach the 100% rates for trouble free products. Easy to connect to your computer. Works in less than 5 minutes! 1.3MP gives a great and sharp picture. More than enough for Google chat or Skype. I would recommend that particular C200 model to anyone.

Honestly was expecting better video quality but it's cheap so I can't really complain.
