FluxusNomad Scarf Charcoal Grey Unisex, Oversized Cotton Wrap, Travel Wrap Made in USA

Oprah loves it for travel, bought it for my wife, but I bought a second one as I found that it's really good for men too. I wear it when leaving colder climates to warmer ones, and it looks great. Our daughter likes to use it as a wrap, on the airplane. Comes in handy as a picnic blanket as well.

I just receive this scarf in the mail today. It is very soft, much like a combed or Egyptian cotton. It is large, and would work as a shawl or wrap as well. The material is about the same weight as a cotton t-shirt. The color is as expected. It has a very large tag sewn on one end that just says: "fLuXuS" in the middle. In my opinion a tag that is so obviously bigger than it needs to be is an attempt to advertise the brand for free, and is just a bit tacky for the wearer. I like my luxuries a bit more subtle. I think some careful work with my sewing scissors will alleviate this problem for me.

I got this for travel and have found I keep it in my office for the inevitable random chill. The texture, weight, size, and color are all exactly what I wanted.

To be honest I was very nervous about purchasing this scarf. Every time I tried to purchase from the seller's direct website, my browser would alert me that it was not secure/safe. Basically, I wasn't sure I would even receive it. However, I have been looking for Fluxus scarves like CRAZY lately! I own a few and love them and I'm shocked they are so hard to find now. They were on Oprah's must have list a couple years back and now it seems as though the Fluxus brand doesn't even exist. Anyways, I did receive my scarf (thankfully) and in a timely manner. I realize they are probably just a small company who doesn't do many online orders. However, I will say that the scarf I received does have the same Fluxus branding and tags and everything, but it does not look or feel like my others do. It is soft, but not nearly as soft and stretchy as the ones I already own. It is also long and large enough to wrap around yourself but even just hung up next to my others, you can tell they are different sizes. I will be keeping this scarf - maybe even purchasing another in a different color simply because I love the size and find it difficult to find the same type of scarfs elsewhere, but I am not super impressed by the quality. I have read other comments about fake Fluxus and in no way do I want to accuse this one of being fake since I am no expert, but all I will say is that it is different quality than the Fluxus I purchased a couple years ago.

I bought a Fluxus scarf in green a few weeks ago and loved it SO much that I wanted another one. I really wanted a black one, but the picture online didn't appear the same as the others so I was hesitant to get it. Needless to say, I got the grey one. It's still just as soft and fun but it isn't as long as the green one which I think is super strange. It's still big, don't get me wrong, but not as big and that was/is part of the appeal to the green one. I just wish they could all be the same consistency. I would return or exchange it but I already threw the packaging out, since it when it came, it looked just like the green one; but it wasn't until I put it on and was wearing it for the day and I noticed how much I was messing with it to get it to stay in the right place. I never have to readjust the green one and that's when I discovered it wasn't the same length.

Had this scarf in another and lost it. Love my new one. Great for travel, on the airplane, as a shawl at your destination and even a cover on you if you're cold in bec.

Great size to use as airplane blanket but light enough to use as scarf. Very soft. Love it!
